I'd have a Nord with a two-handed sword, with smithing, then for the hell of it I'd have a wood elf who duel-wielded shields!

Now with the dual wielding I'll finally get to fulfill my dream of having destruction magic and a big ass shield.

I'll play a Kahjit girl.
No armor specialization.
No melee weapon for when things get bad.

I'll probably play: Stealth, Destruction, Block, Alteration, Illusion, Healing, and maybe talking (If there's some benefit to it I only picked it in oblivion because it was easy to level up all the way I hardly ever had to use it)

Either a Breton or High Elf depending on which seems better for magic this time round as the magic looks much better than before and I liked using it anyway, and depending on just how good maybe a full fledged mage this time instead of a battlemage.

And this if I ever do a second playthrough:

My Skyrim Nord will be Thor Odinson XD, one of the default character models looks just like Chris Hemsworth's Thor. I figure heavy armor, two handed and one handed, and destruction. I can definitively see it after the demonstration vid showed dual wielding Lightning and one of the special shout powers is "Storm Call" which literally lets you summon forth a massive thunderstorm to strike at your enemies. Picture it: A horde of beasts races to strike him down, he raises his mighty hammer and calls to the sky, suddenly the sky turns black as pitch an mother nature's fury is unleashed, what creatures remain are struck down by the lightning flowing from his hands and the might of his hammer. Badass :)
You have conviced me to do this at some point now.

I'm not sure at the moment, but due to the horribly broken glitchfest this game will inevitably be when first released I don't plan on buying it for a few months after, so I have plenty of time to think about it. I'm considering something with heavy armor, unless its like Oblivion where light armor eventually becomes more protective than heavy. Maybe some duel swords, cliche I know, but you can't deny it looks cool.

Erm my first character is probably going to be my usual sneaky bowshooty backstabby neutral man

After this i will make a dark elf called Drizzit that uses two swords ¬¬

Also i want to try out a character that uses 2 shields (peaceful run maybe) If this is possible of course

Oh yeah then its the Gandalf play through with staff and sword

Yeah.... i got a loooonnngg list

Probably an Imperial female with a ranger-type class.
Hopefully crossbows will be brought back in all their glory.

I'll be one of the elves, haven't decided which one. Most likely male.

In Morrowind/Oblivion I was mostly a swordsman/mage with heavy focus on destruction and restoration. This time I'm gonna go for a steathly assassin/mage character instead. I'll skip destruction entirely this time, and rely mostly on illusion, alchemy, daggers and bows.

I will do what i normally do, on the first play through i go for warrior fighter thing, so probably like human male, heavy armor, swords, shield, and smithing. I then spend like the first 2 hours walking around sneaking just so i have some skill in it when i really need it.

A Nord- haven't decided what gender- with either dual war axes or a warhammer, and make my own berserker class.

I'll be playing a Norse Spellsword-esque character; sword/axe in one hand, staff in the other.

In other words, a Viking version of Gandalf. An angry, violent version of Gandalf. And it will be awesome.

Male Khajiit with stealth, athletics, acrobatics, lockpick specializations. (No combat skills I'm actually going to be a thief which means if I fuck up I actually have to run away.)

Imperial. Yes yes, boring I know, but I like to create characters in my own image so I can actually visualise myself in the game making these decisions. I've gotten really good at it! Imperial is the only one that really fits; maybe I could make a Nord version of me since I'm rather tall, but they're just too broad.

Hate to break it but athletics and acrobatics are gone.

Redguard. Daggers, destruction, sneaking, poisons and potions. Who needs armour when I can sneak around, undetected, and make you puke your guts out? AFTER I evicerate you with a 15x damage sneak crit with my dagger? (BTW,dagger sneak multiplyer=15x is the final perk on the Sneak tree. Thank you,TESNexus.)

An Orc Enchanter. Heavy on a sort of Battlemage inspiration. Heavy armor, heavy weapons, and enchantments on all of them. Regardless, he'll rely on magic primarily, and on his tank-like abilities second.

I WILL CASTS THE SPELLS THAT MAKES THE PEOPLES FALL DOWN! And go bare-chested with two axes, carving a bloody warpath through my enemies. And charm people with my awesome social skills. So... I guess I'll play as an uber-avatar of some sort of deity.
