Find solution.

While backing up recent additions to The Loli Archive.

I am(luckily) not stupid enough to have it on my main drive for long. Hell, I usually put it directly onto an external.

I love Terabytes. XP

EDIT:

Back up whatever I haven't already backed up or if no time, turn off computer, take out HDD and put it into another computer to save its contents.

Hit someone up for $100 and write them an I.O.U. so I can pool that and the money I have right now to buy a new laptop to replace this piece of shit I have right now which is slowly dying anyway.

Try to track whomever made that software that destroys my machine, and set their house on fire.. Yeah, that punishment seems suitable i think..

I wouldn't be surprised, and would fix it for the umpteenth time.
My laptop is gradually dying for various reasons as it is, and no matter how many times I fix it, it'll still find a way to die again.
I blame Dell. :p

Eject my hardrive. Yes there is a button to do that. Buy a new computer, transfer files using a USB cable.

Turn off and kill myself. Because I have just lost my only source of gaming news and music and I will have even less reason to exist

Ensure I have the important stuff backed up. I always save my essays and lab reports as follows:

- Saved onto my memory stick
- Email to myself
- Backed up onto an external hard drive.

My music and films are saved on my iPods, and are also backed up.

So it isn't my work that I would be worried about. I would try system restore as that is like computer CPR.

Honestly? I spend most of my time expecting my computer to die. It's about 7 years old, makes this horrible noise and has a habit of turning itself back on when I turn it off. I've sat down with it for about 20 minutes turning it off again and again.

So? I'd just put all my story documents on my USB and leave it to die...finally.

Shut down, disconnect all 4 of its hard drives, go get my sacrificial drive, connect it to SATA0, boot up ubuntu, then google solutions.
