Your country without laws

You're country has just abolished all of its laws suddenly for whatever reason or excuse you can come up with. What do you predict will happen and what will you do?

Total anarchy. For a country with a lot of freedoms we sure ***** about our laws a lot. I would join with the first couple weeks of rioting and then I'd barricade an apartment complex and live there until I starve or go crazy.

I live in America so if that happened then we would probably have a nuclear holocaust in a matter of minutes. If not then there would just be lots of murder, looting, and of course the more extreme racists would probably go insane.

I live in canada but I don't think things would fall apart all that fast I think a few big companys would start to abuse and things would get bad in a buisness sense but in the end there is enough space that alot of people would probibly just break down into small villages instead n take care of themselves eventually

Here in 'Merica it would descend into chaos FAST. There would definitely be race wars and prejudice riots. People would finally come out with their huge guns that they've been hiding. Ugh there's too much to list. Abortion clinics would burn down, witch trials for the gays..etc.

Yeah, the country would very rapidly devolve into people killing each other for whatever stupid reason. Crack that thin shell of civility and you'd find a gooey drippy yolk of pure madness.

Um...isn't the answer going to be same more or less in every country? IE, total social collapse with an appalling death toll, unless peacekeeping forces rush in from other nations immediately (in which case it'd be a massive social collapse, with a smaller appalling death toll)?

It would suck. I have a friend who thinks that a country without laws would be good because people would work together. It totally wouldn't be like that. It would be every man for himself for the most part, everything would descend into chaos after a pretty short time i think.

Also, owuld this reach to governemnt? Cause America needs Congress' permission to go to war, so without needing Congress, we'd probably jump every country we could (Including Canada and Mexico) and settle some more territory.
