Xylitol.

I'm Finnish. :D
hei, ainoo toinen suomalainen täällä :D
Khyl niit löytyy.

The automobile was actually invented by Karl Benz. So scratch that off your ridiculously long list of inventions, USA!

Molotov Cocktail is probably our biggest contribution to gamers.
A short Google told me that a Finnish guy called Matti Makkonen, actually invented the text message. As in the SMS message, the ones on your mobile phone.

In addition to all-important discoveries such as the cheese slicer and the aerosol spray, we Norwegians invented
So, kids, everytime you see a whale or other marine mammal being shot to pieces, remember to thank the Norwegians.

Australia invented the Plasma Thruster (Yes it actually exists).
So that takes the coolness cake for me.
Fuuuuuuck.

I'll trade you Dracula, the submarine, and the harpoon gun for that. (Just think of all the fun you can have!)

Well, I'd say "mass culture" and "consumerism", which is more or less a by-product of the masses of other inventions that originated in the U.S., pretty much spurring globalization.

Is that a good thing? Who knows. It may end up biting us in the ass whatwith China's new wealth and all.

An American invented the cell phone? I thought it was a Japanese thing. No, wait, they just did it better. ...Snap.
FU. how about this, the Ipod, Iphone, and lightbulb?
I hate pointing this out, but MP3 is a german invention (iirc)
i know, that is why i specifically referenced the ipod, not mp3s in general

The iPod was just a very expensive mp3 player with dated technology that offered nothing new. It's hardly a noteworthy achievement, and its success only proves that people are idiots. Sorry, but the iPod is not an invention you as a US citizen ought to be proud of. Take pride in Edison's work instead...

Country
United States
I'm from America, and I believe it was my country that invented the TV.

As well as Pinball, video games, and french fries (if that counts).
