To all the people who won a match in a shooter against a disproportionately large number of opponents: I've found that it's actually easier to win these types of games. You have way more people to shoot at-- racking up kills becomes much quicker. Likewise, your opponent only has one or two guys to hunt down and kill.
The only game, I think, where that doesn't work is TF2, because a bigger team means more explosives.

thats true... but it that also depends on the match being played and if the other guys work as a team or not. the only time its a real benefit is when your playing deathmatch, otherwise you can be stuffed if you dont have a large team, a few examples of which are ctf (TF2, UT, ect), sabotage (COD4, Halo, ect), search and distroy (COD4, CS, ect), domination/king of the hill (UT, COD4, ect) and headquaters (COD4). I cant remmember anyothers but theres probably more.

but i have managed to win a 1 vs 4 search and distroy (in Cod4), took alot of effort and stratergy, and dodging random nades was anouying, but i managed it (and the uav you almost always get comes in very handy).

How the fuck is that possible. I mean come on, the stuff you need to do to get that Achievment is boderline glitch!

I suppose my most awesome moment in gaming would be when I defeated CoD2 on vetran. Not that special but I thought it was pretty cool.

About 4 years ago, I had a good ol' fashioned Half Life 2 deathmatch on the Nova Prospekt map, about 8 people of mixed skill levels, 100 kills.

Final score: 101 / 25ish with a double kill at the end. Not balls-to-the-wall amazing but I smile when i think of it...

In BF2 I got a triple kill off a half second of mini gun fire from a helicopter.

I 4-starred Through the Fire and Flames on Expert in GH3...probably the proudest gaming moment I can think of right now. Oh well.

When my brother was playing a 1v1 Gears of War match and he blind fired a sniper shot across the entire map and got a head-shot to kill his opponent. I didn't get the satisfaction of doing it, but it was still insane.

Getting a Rainbow Aura in Initial D: Arcade Stage Version 3. Man I was great at that game, even if it cost me half a fortune over the span of two years.

Got through Though the Fire and Flames on Medium. I know it doesn't sound grand but have you tried it on expert? I don't have the extra hands... or the co-ordination...

One time i got a killionare on Halo 3 in custom games where i bet my friend that i could beat his whole clan/guild in a team deathmatch to 100. I lost but i still got a killionaire.
the score was, i think like 39/100. i suck when whole clans come at me. :D

Every time I used to shoot myself dry on BF2 in the grass across from the hotel spawnpoint on one of the urban maps.

No one ever knew I was there. I felt like such a badass sniper god

Er... hm.

Call of Duty 4:

10 Kill Streak with just a knife against an entire opposing team rushing my sniper position on Bloc.

Halo 3:

After defeating a team in a match with my friend, I proceeded to say in a childish goofy voice "I pooped on you" (due to my tea-bagging during said match). One of the grown men on the other team went on to scream in a very angry voice "YOU DIDN'T! You DID NOT POOP ON ME!". Which means I turned a man into a child over a video game.

Soul Calibur 3:

Going roundhouse at a local youth cafe over three times. Beating one person with my eyes closed literally. Another person, who was using my controller, I defeated and upon landing the final blow his (my) thumbstick broke off. Beating him so badly that his (my) controller could not take it.

Fucking nice man! I can never outmanuver warhawks if I'm in a jeep...My gunner always bails :(

My shining glory would be either during MGO, I was using a G18, running through the bloodbath map, and scoring headshots like CRAZY. I won the game with like 36 headshots. I just kept running and firing off bursts at peoples heads.

That gun has NEVER failed me.

I just Five stared "Green Grass and High Tides" on Rock Band's guitar on Medium. Not really that huge, but considering I only played Rock Band once before, I feel accomplished.

Fuckin' 8 minute solos...

In one match of Team Snipers in Halo 3, I shot a bullet that ricocheted twice and killed the entire opposing Team. It was my single best moment in that game ever.

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to call BS on this one.
Technically possible, but with an improbability factor of 8767128 to 1 against. Roughly equivalent to being picked up in space after being dumped by a Vogan ship.
...surely if he did such an amazing feat he'd of saved that clip on the video play back mode bit. LET'S SEE IT THEN!

Having two stadiums named after me in Football Manager 2007. (One was the Guido van 't Haar Stadium in Emmen, the other was the Guido van 't Haar Stadium in Manchester, haha)

Conquering France, England and Spain with 'Friesland' in Europa Universalis III, with the Magna Mundi mod.

Surviving Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday with Luxembourg (in a game in which World War II is completely triggered)
