I'm working on trying to make a mob trap, and a couple of other projects. Namely trying to re-forest and chop down all the burning trees that I accidentally set fire after excitedly jumped out of the my nether portal for the first time into a new world.

I'm flattening a mountain.

Yep, that's it. Got Minecraft yesterday though, so am still learning how it works...

Really, though. My disappointment over the death of my whole project was drowned out by my glee over the bizarre turn of events and the excitement of running down floor by floor to escape the descending inferno. Now I'm always working with a burned-out lava tower in the background lol.

Minecraft can be pretty addicting, and the hours just disappear. Every time I look at the clock three hours have gone by.
It's just... so bizarre to think about. The physics of the situation don't make any sense. (Okay, yes. Physics have no place)

I'd love to try Minecraft... I just really don't want to lose more of my day than I utterly have to to videogames - and Dragon Age is sucking up a huge amount as it is.

Building giant underwater farms. The planning's done, so... yeah. Time to get started.

I am currently working on my Boat Dispenser, I pretty much have it all done except for the fact that the boats get stuck every now and again.

Well, I play on a SMP server, because my place on that is easily a Thousand times better than any map I've ever had. I'm working on dispenser machineguns, and other complex wire things.

Floating citadel.

It's coming up nicely. I have a platform with a water elevator attached to it, a spot for animals to chill out at (except I can't get grass to grow on the dirt... dumb doors blocking grass) and I have to somehow connect it to my underwater mine I dug up in a nearby lake.
the trick to getting grass to grow on dirt, you need to have basically a 'fuse' of dirt leading from a patch of grass to the area of dirt you want grass on. grass will slowly grow from the grass patch down the fuse of dirt, until the grass eventually reaches the patch of dirt you want grass on. once grass is growing on that dirt you want, you can destroy the 'fuse'
Ya I know but I blocked my "fuse" with door. Apparently Minecraft doesn't like that.

Well I set out from my lovely home built into a hillside and went for a great adventure to the North, with some good equipment, my diamond sword and my trusty compass. After journeying for a while through some winding valleys and across some sandy lake shores I came across some stunning natural scenery.

An absolutely massive lake, completely frozen over with a great pine forest on its banks, the first time I had ever seen pine trees! I decide to camp there for the night, digging out my usual little shelter with a torch and a wooden door. As the dawn came out I went exploring, and hunted down a few Creepers that were wandering the forests. After exploring a few caves and finding some iron and surface lava, I found a dark passageway from which the sounds of clinking skeletons echoed...

I edged forward, bow at the ready, placing torches down every few blocks. I clambered up a small stone shelf and placed a torch down. The light splashed across the empty gaping face of a Creeper only feet away! Made me jump out of my seat. Seriously, who the fuck isn't scared of Creepers?!

After shoving my diamond sword through its slimy green body I edged forward, still hearing skeletons clinking, and I found myself looking into a dungeon, only the second one I have ever found! Five skeletons fired arrows at me, hitting me three times and breaking my steel armour (which was already badly worn). I got out of there with only a few hearts left and having no food in my inventory. I did, however have a fishing rod, which I used to catch about eight fish, and I hunted down a pig which gave me two pork chops. After hollowing out my tiny shelter a little more to allow a furnace, a crafting table and a small chest, into which I stored all my excess items, before cooking all the fish, crafting some new iron armour and storming the dungeon again. After shooting down a pair of skeletons guarding the entrance and rushing another that was hiding behind the corner, I hastily placed down torches all around the spawner and hacked away at it with my pickaxe. After I had broken the spawner I searched the pair of chests that were in the dungeon (always the most exciting part!!!). It wasn't a very good loot, some iron, bread and string... Thanksss...

But oh well.

Right now I'm just sheltering for the night and recovering before I either keep exploring or make my way home, I haven't quite decided.

I love Minecraft :3

I'm building a FUNHOUSE where there is supposed to be a maze and shittons of monsters and stuff like that. I'm also probably building a home. No pictures right now as I'm at work.

All of this on my server, where me and my friends are playing.

Shameless plug:
If anyone is interested in playing on an EU server (basically up 24/7) with a few plugins (IE: Minecraft Mania, Essentials and anything else people request) and a small, tight-knit community, feel free to PM me. Server is hosted in Norway.

Made this in the span of two days or so.

Also, it's about 5 minutes long, mainly because of the song. I didn't feel like cutting it off.

Depending on my attention span at the time, A giant Creeper statue, a hollowed out Moria-esque place starting at the bedrock, and a golden chapel.

EDIT: Also, I've decided I don't like lumpy terrain, so I'm building a flat "surface level" starting from the base of my stone tower and expanding until I run out of dirt. It's one layer thick, so breaking a block can result in falling through to the old surface level.

i made an obisdian/gold castle temple thingy, and now i'm augmenting the front with twin diamond penises, fully erect from the 2 castle towers. I'm going to hollow them out and make a lava water fall from the tips...

Just finished my garden pit with varying degrees of success; the garden looks perfect (and took up all of my bonemeal) but have encountered the issue of mobs spawning and making my forrest seem like something out of Alan Wake, so that's my fix for the moment.
Future projects planned: a museum made entirely of sandstone walls and paintings covering them.
