Prison.

The idea is to build a large complex with many cells, dark enough so that monsters can spawn in them. Of course, with the doors controlled by levers, they can't leave without me opening the cell for them. So I can just sit and laugh at the creepers as revenge for all the times they blew up my walls.
Holy shit. Thats awesome you have got to keep me updated on that.

That looks great. What's the texture pack?

--------

I'm finishing off the outer wall of my (not particularly impressive) castle. Then I'm going to keep on building more and more structures in the area, and eventually develop it into a city. I'm also constructing a proper mining zone.

Doku's RPG pack: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=25676

Hasn't been updated since September so pumpkins, dyes and anything else that has been added since then will be untextured.

Do you mean they're stuck with the default texture, or just blank?

Anyway, thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

I made a underground house with a glass ceiling to watch the mobs, now I'm building a Obsidian farm all I need is the lava.

I just spent two days trying to remove a mountain that was blocking my view from my terrace in my mountainside villa. My next project is to create an underground fortress with a skeleton crossroad where there is two large skulls on the wall that weep lava into a pond. If you go through the mouths of the skeletons you can enter new areas of the underground fortress which I still have to make up my mind on what it should be, maybe a dungeon or a fire pit, I really cannot say. My last project was a pirate bay with a huge pirate ship with its own bay, with a view to a skull island I built up from the ground. It was pretty succesful i have to say. Maybe my next project will be a huge fortress in The Nether

Overcome my fear of the Nether. I made my portal using the cheap lava mold way, entered, spent a few minutes looking around and being shot at, concluded that it was a horrible place and left. A few days after that, the Portal's noises started to annoy me and I dynamited it.

Also I'm planning on building a 1:1 model of my house.

Going to build a temple with a Nether Portal at the end of it and then i'm going to dig a massive hole around it to make it a type of floating fortress feel to it. It's mainly to avoid spiders. You wouldn't believe how many times I've died due to spiders climbing over the walls and jumping on me from above.

Just finished building a giant fortified tower, still needs decorating though, I hoping to expand this into a small village. I've also got lots of obsidian to extract from my main mine which will take awhile. Though I am currently working mining for diamonds which has invovled digging a long network of tunnels at the bedrock level.

Though I have new short term goal to clear up all the burning trees on the map, I couldn't be bothered to cut a few trees down so I set them on fire, forgetting how dense the area was in trees, and now half the contintent is on fire and my last backup was hours ago, D'OH!

Trying to get a better grip on how the Nether affects travel. Like, make a portal, go to the nether, make a portal *in* the nether a little bit away, and see how far it takes me. The wiki says each block passed in the nether moves you both 8 and 16 blocks in the normal world, so I decided i'd figure out which one it is myself. And then try to figure out how exactly I'd use that to my advantage in single player, since I can't be bothered to go hunting for a multiplayer server again.

No they just don't show up properly. I would get some screenshots but I haven't got round to putting the texture pack back on.

Bought Minecraft a few days ago, having a blast. Might be my favorite game of 2011.

Just started Minecraft again. My latest project is an underground city, complete with bridges and walkways. Only 7 hours into it so far:

Currently working on Isengard. I'd be making more progress, but I've been very busy, and I have to build it twice. Because obsidian is so damn hard to break, I build it in dirt first, then replace it.

It's complete (or will be) with birthing pits, the Palantir, the place where Gandalf was imprisoned, and the river Isen.

I know how you feel...one misplaced block of obsidian is 15 seconds of hell...

I recently began a new world (try the seed "love". It's pretty darn awesome. giant desert, and awesome cliff formations), so I'm making my first main base right now.

Which is a huge wooden house by a bay. With two levels of basement, a large main floor, guest house and an upper story bedroom.

Currently, I have the main floor and the bottom basement (main crafting area) done.

And once I have enough cobblestone, I will make a giant bizzare castle in some weirdly shaped cliffs not too far away.

And whenever pistons are made, I will make my theif hideout in the nearby massive desert.

That looks like a dungeon I had planned for my castle (still planning. Need WAAAAAAY more cobblestone before I can do it. In fact I was originally gonna do that on my last world in a nether castle...that I never ended up making.
