Fun. <-- For some reason I've been listening to them for the past few days, and I have NO IDEA who they are, or where they stand in terms of music socially, or anything at all.

Well I'm currently going through an industrial phase, which is quite a change from my past few phases (which were comprised of indy rock and 80s thrash/classic rock).
Perhaps one my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. And of course some german industrial.

Well mine would have to be:

My most listened to song of the past 12 months. <3

But right now, I'm really getting into the Naked and Famous. Especially Girls Like You.

Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon, and Wish You Were Here)

Modest Mouse (We were dead before the ship even sank, Good news..., The moon and antaritica)

Radiohead (The Bends, OK Computer, Pablo Honey)

Orbs (Asleep Next to Science)

This has to be the craziest playlist ever. If you've never heard of the Orbs before...

Easily one of the best songs you'll listen to today.

"While you were out there kissing babies, I was luring kids with lollipops and now they're pushing daisies."

Me and a friend have officially declared it Portishead Month. It's a blast to sing along to, as well.

I've always liked The Shins but lately I can't get enough of them at work. Same with In Flames (makes for some interesting mixes).
I finally got to see MSI about 2 weeks ago and it's still fresh in my head.

One of the best band I've heard in a long time.

Got into Red Hot Chili Peppers a few months ago, on the advice of a good friend of mine. I now barely listen to much else at the moment, bought Kiedis' autobiography, own almost their entire discography (working on it) and learnt most of it on guitar because Mr Frusciante is fantastic :D
Welcome. They really are awesome, aren't they?

I saw them live at Manchester a few months ago. As for the 'Scar Tissue' autobiography, it's very interesting, isn't it?
Yes, yes they are :D And yeah it really made me think of the band in a new way, brilliant read too.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are awesome!

Snow (Hey Oh) has to be one of my favorite songs of all time.
Yeah, it's one of the more infuriating songs to try to play as well :L It takes a fair bit of endurance to keep it up, Especially In Michigan is my favorite at the moment (though it changes almost weekly).
