Yes, I mean legitimate sites, like 4OD and BBC iPlayer. But I did used to steal use of my parents' Sky account online (with their permission) when I was at uni - we had Virgin Media there, and Sky at home, so I had the best of both worlds...

EDIT: Finally remembered probably the only two accounts I've ever had online that were rather embarrassing. Runescape and Habbo Hotel, when I was a wee nipper. Of course, these were long before the days of sex chat and paedos on both...

I was one of those people that actually tried to reason with people and have actual discussions with people on YouTube back in sixth grade. I also had an Evony account, too, and actually tried to convince my friends it was totally cool. How wrong I was....

I don't really have a lot of other ones, considering I didn't really start using the 'net until sixth grade or so, since I'd never had a computer of my own and had little use for my dad's old clunker.

I did have an account on Rotten Tomatoes when I was about 13, I'd say? You might not think that there's anything intrinsically embarrassing about having a Rotten Tomatoes account, but this account was used for rather embarrassing purposes.

It was in-between the second and third Lord of the Rings films, and me and my friend were RIDICULOUSLY into it. We read the books over and over, even The Silmarillion, we talked about it all day, we knew every line of dialogue in the film... so, we took it to the internet. For about an hour and a half every day at school we sat in an IT room and just talked complete shit on the RT LotR forums. At the time it didn't seem that silly, but looking back on it, all the jokes and the things we gushed about were so, so banal.

I googled my screenname a while back, and while I didn't find anything embarrassing (my current one is different from the one I started out with at 12, which is common enough to be un-google-able, thankfully) I /did/ find a bunch of crap I had forgotten about, not to mention that I have an embarrassingly large footprint with this name. I went through the first 14 pages of a google search, and every last hit was either me, or something about the obscure Wheel of Time character whose name I use. I guess the most embarrassing thing is that I have a Veoh account? There's no videos posted under it, but yes, the veoh account under this screen name is mine. As is every other account for at least the first 14 pages of google. I think that's the real dark net secret here: I need to get a life, obviously.
