My most memorable death, while not spectacular, sticks in my mind because it demonstrates how DayZ's popularity has made it worse. I was crawling in the fields south of elektro, as I had just spawned at otmel. I had no weapon so I was trying to avoid zombies. I got up to try and run, but then this guy runs up to me out of nowhere and shoots me point blank with an AK. I die instantly, and then ask him in global why he shot me. His response "lol u mad". A tragic downturn for a once great game. People treating it like a cod game of just generally griefing.
