first raid a millitary armory, then rescue a few of my friends and then head to my highschool with them and barricade it since we have almost evreything in that high school

I'd be heading to the water, and I'd hide out on a ship for a while before going near land again.

I'd get guns from the local gun guy that just got caught with hundreds of automatic guns in his basement because he was "preparing for the apocalypse". Take those and his ammo, and since zombies cant swim, live on a local dock (fishing community) and hang out on someones boat with the engine off and anchored in the middle of the bay. Also, the supermarket is right across the street, so I would go there in the day. Either that or I would take a car and go to Maine and live in my cabin on my awesome boat. To anyone with plans of flying, airplanes use lots of gas and if you cant land (eg ton of zombies) then you are gonna crash

I'm barricading my house, and as soon as I can find enough people, I will expand to barricade my neighborhood.

A skyscraper would be quite nice. Like a nice glassy one, not a giant concrete block.

You have a vantage point over the city (nice views too!), can accomodate tons of people, loads of space for barricades on the lower floors, and i'd imagine they already have stuff like toilets and kitchens. Not to mention electrical and internet connection for as long as it lasts

Then you can use the roof and top few floors possibly to keep animals and grow plants for a renewable food source. It'd need a big roof so you can chill out on the top :3

Living in Western Australia I'd either head out to the nearest Island off the coast or directly into the Desert where dead bodies rot faster.
