According to this marketing survey (this thread) a console needs to dispen drinks, which I heartily agree with!, thats where Sony et al have gone wrong.

We hardcore gamers care not for quad cores or 128billion transistors on a graphics card, we want mountain dew, and we want it fucking chilled!.

Oh and salty peanuts would be nice, but not the killer app like that of dispensing drinks.
