An RPG with respectably incorporated multiplayer. Not like an MMORPG - it's not everyone together at once with the RPG elements de-emphasized. But a real RPG with multiplayer that doesn't break the fourth wall. That would be fun.

A mechwarrior MMO
Basically, start of as a tank pilot, play through the battletech story in an rpg setting, as you do better, you gain access to better equipment/tanks/mechs/aircraft (either like in black knight or in mercenaries) clan wars can have lance leaders be the clan leaders and officers and the lance mates being the general memebers. Different races being the Clan (subdivisions), Steiner, Davion, or possibly even freelance/mercenaries.
Possibly a level up system along the lines of Mechcommander 2

A cross between an RTS (base builder) and an FPS.

Basically, you play it as an RTS but you can jump into the action as one of your troops while the AI continues until you swap out again.

I would make it a hell of a lot more fun IMHO.

Crysis times 50? I don't have enough time to write my biggest dreams about that right now.

An MMO that feels like a real world.
NPCs that wander constantly, have speech and conversations with each other, some offer quests, others don't, no exclamation point to let you know if they have a quest.
Real destruction physics, and world PVP with siege weapons and the like.
Cities that can be destroyed, or damaged, buildings have to be built back up if you want to use them again, and the NPC is (always) gone with the building.
Great combat that feels part RPG, part action. Kind of like Guild Wars' combat - fast paced, with some time to wait for some stuff.
A story throughout the game, changes depending on how the world PVP is going. ie - City X gets destroyed, and the main story required you to go through City X. Must either wait or help retake and rebuild City X in order to progress, becomes a new quest line.
A huge, single world. One server, tons of players. No instancing, 'cept dungeons, of course.

I donno, sounds good to me.

Basically a real life simulator, only it takes place in an action packed fantasy world ;D

By real life simulator i mean everything is super realistic, including ai, and you actually go INTO the game!

Basically VR + RPG

Quite simply a multiplayer RTS with a unit/army AI that is so smart that you basically train it your tactics. The best tacticians would be the ones with the least cpm instead of with the most.
Now THAT would be real time strategy, all you have to do is change strategies to react to the situation.

An RPG like the OP described, but would be on the same par of epicness as Mass Effect and would include Pirates. And maybe some Vikings and Ninjas.

something with non-stop explosions and fighting, with hundreds of AI partners battling it out in a giant battle throughout the entire battle. And non of that your the main hero, only you can stop them, all AIs are needed to win. That'd be such a brilliant game.

Any one ever see http://www.cleverbot.com/. It's AI at it's best and could be the future of gaming AI.

Haha that thing was so damn annoying >.<

The annoying thing is that when I told it it is in fact annoying it ordered me to go to the corner and think about myself...

PS:

I'm actually starting to like that thing xP.
Sorry I just had to post it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again (since you asked). It would be a realistic war game, I'm not talking about CODMW type "realistic" where you kinda team with fellow soldiers. I mean, like a mix between the emotions, drama, and other great things from "The Hurt Locker" and the realistic actions in "Black Hawk Down". I would also like if they could have properly functioning voice recognition that would make me feel like I'm am actually in a real conversation with the NPC, granted, it would be (realistically) kinda driven by them and limited in responses but I'm sure you get the idea. Also, have real military MOS involved such as Medic, Sapper, etc. For example, while playing as a Medic, you would have to perform basic first aid while under the simulated stress of fire. (The Sapper is basically an engineer that also acts as Infantry for those of you who don't know.) This would be taught to you through a tutorial designed after the real life AITs, I'm not saying teach enough to make people dangerous or anything but a basic working knowledge I guess (except for the obvious ones which would be switched out with...I don't know, "hacking" puzzles like Bioshock? Haven't really thought those other ones out yet). For the Sapper, that would basically be just strategies (i.e. blowing a manhole cover through a wall. I've heard a story about that happening, just imagine what it must've been like in that room.) The Medic player would be taught a very basic understanding that could (in theory) translate in to a real life scenario, thus saving someone's life, and getting good publicity for gaming. Also, the squad tactics would be more realistic. You couldn't just wander off and still survive. Oh, and EOD would be basically just the stuff from "Hurt Locker". Throw in moral curveballs like a disoriented (likely blinded) patient fighting you off, a guy with a cell phone who can't understand you (yeah, it's a "Hurt Locker" ripoff but that's a tough decision none the less). Oh, and little bits of lightness and humor to liven things up like talking with fellow soldiers, the romance story with your girl back home, and finding out that cell phone had "One Missed Call". Sometimes luck just happens that way.

An RPG where you follow some kind of dimension-hopping evil through dungeons that reflect older periods of gaming, like with what Persona 4 did in the Void Quest dungeon. The game would consist of starting in a modern setting then going through a level of 80's 16-bit sidescroller, through some 90's Donkey Kong style 2D level, a polygon-infested FFVII-esque level, then a Chrono Cross type graphic level, Devil May Cry type, and one or two others before landing back int he modern era for the final showdown. A sort of tribute to gaming and its evolution as a whole seeing as so many people seem to be replaying the classics.
