Connexions PA and being a part time novelist.
Not a million miles away from what I am qualified in :) so that's good I guess; plus, I do write part time.

Undercover hotels and restaurants inspector. Hotels and restaurants owners pay them to stay and eat on their hotels and restaurants.
I'm pretty sure this doesn't exist.

My dad's been a Hotellier (GM of Hotels) for over 26 years (I don't know the exact number but before my older brother was born) and he's never done that.

They get friends and family from out of town to do it.

And they do it themselves when they come to a new hotel.
Probably it doesn't as a regular job. I read and article about a tourism expert that created the job for himself but that was a long time ago.

My current job, but better paid. I work at an independent cinema, and lets just say any job that gives you the opportunity to play Wipeout HD on a cinema screen is awesome. Also sometimes we order Chinese or Pizzas for dinner on long shifts (12 hours or more). Problem is it provides little career progression and doesn't offer the hours or the pay I need.

Gah, so many.
An English teacher in Japan, which has no chance of happening.
I want to own an animal centre and take care of all the poorly and abused animals, if I had the money I would do that.
When I was younger I wanted to be a writer or singer, then realised I wasn't very good at both.
Now I'd like to work with children and I've been offered a placement at a children's centre which is a step forward!

I'd like to edit research papers for an academic journal. I've applied to practically every job in the state that has even tangential relations to writing. No one wants to hire my sorry ass, though, not even as a waiter. Instead I'm a funemployed hikikomori.

I hate this economy. I hate it so bad. People just a few years older than me strut around in their business power suits and all because they graduated a few years earlier than me.

This life thing sucks. I want a refund.

I would love to become the director of a company or head of a section in a large company. I love business and how complex it is and I would love to give back something to the world

My ideal world dream one though would probably be a music writer, whilst I have the knowledge to do so, I just don't think I could make enough of a living to support a family. Defiantly when I retire

A couple come to mind:

- Being an SCPCA cop, or from a similar animal protection organisation.
- Being an animal caretaker in a zoo or waterpark, or a trainer of some kind giving shows.
- Being a bartender in a quiet, hidden little jazz club in the big city where only a certain clientèle comes.
- Working at any space program, preferably researching extrasolar planets, at either ESA or NASA.
- Lets throw in astronaut for good measure.

Some others come to mind, but they're a bit vague, so I'll keep it at these.

Owner of a traveling waffle bar. Get a team of caterers and a flatbed truck and just drive around third world or poverty stricken countries offering free waffles. This has been my ultimate goal for years now. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard to find some one to pay me to do this...
Hold on, I'd work for that. Sure, the pay probably wouldn't be great but come on, free waffles!

What my father does. He is a 20 year senior mechanic/instructor for a public transportation company in a major US city. He makes near $40 an hour; he works the midnight shift. At first I thought working nights would suck, but he told me that it's the best thing ever. He has his own office, with satellite TV; and there are very few other employees working in his building at that time.

So basically my father gets paid to watch TV, and tell other 'dumbshits' (as he calls them) what to do.

Either a film score writer, or a ridiculously successful entrepreneur, they're my aspirations.

Either a film critic, or director/actor.

Either one would make me incredibly happy. :)

Owner/manager at a net cafe/comic book/trading card shop. Getting to sit around on the computer while reading comics and playing cards, yeah, I would be happy.

Certified public accountant or CPA where I would be hired by huge companies to do their accounting and assist them with anything financial related.
