I used to think it the worst form of censorship to ban someone, or have them modded or even ignore them rather than argue unless they were actually inciting some sort of violence. Now I've actually put someone on ignore for the first time. The poster was harassing me, quoting me and calling what I'd written lies without a single valid point to even show the post was incorrect, let alone a lie. There was nothing to argue about. The poster was just a loon. I guess harassment is its own form of violence demanding an "ignore."

Ignoring isn't censorship. You're just not listening to them, you're not stopping them from saying what they want.

OT: I have had maybe one or two heated arguments on these forums but I don't have a nemesis. I don't even think I'm known at all by anyone. Does anyone recognise me?

Well there was this one dude, a long, long time ago, who used to come onto my threads, and my threads only and be a negative douche. Can't remember his name or if he is on here but I haven't seen his style of asshole for a while so I guess I am without a nemesis.

haha i probably didn't help by snipping a days old post. I generally don't post on here enough to come across people who wind me up. Or usually if I do its 8 pages into a 16 page discussion and they've already been argued with fully.

Actually I do remember getting into a big argument with JoJo over something, but I wasn't really annoyed I just couldn't fathom his viewpoint, nor he mine.

Well, I don't have a nemesis, since I usually regard every new thread with the wondrous eyes of a curious child and I do not carry over opinions on different contributors from other threads.
And the only people I still remember are:

Boudica, because of the avatar.

Daystar, because everyone keeps mentionning the guy.

Moonlight Butterfly, because I KILLED HER 3 TIMES IN DARK SOULS ALREADY AND MADE HER SOUL INTO A GODDAMN SWORD, HOW IS SHE STILL ACTIVE ON THESE FORUMS.

As to gaining the status of nemesis:
I want to be seen as a contributor of humor of various forms, maybe spiced up with a bit of satire, sarcasm and irony, and the odd opinion or two, but not as someone regarded by others malicously.

Posting for the second time here. I'm not well known enough or even memorable enough to have a nemesis sadly. All my arguments are shallow and I tend to lurk more than post. Great big giant debates I like to shy away from just because i'm not a good debater so there's that.


I will say though there are a few people on this site who I'd rather not see. They will ALWAYS be in the srs business Off topics and have to say something every single fucking time. And it's usually something negative or insulting. Also the people who pick apart quotes line by line... yeah those types are really annoying.
