I'd choose Vladimir Lestraud; and yes, I got that name from Yahtzee's (fake) Duke Nukem Forever review.
If we're going Yahtzee then definitely Gareth Gobblecoque.
But realistically it needs to be inconspicuous and easy, so... Mike Jones?

I have several, but the most used one is John Blackthorne.

I wonder if anyone gets it, and remember where it is from.

Stanley Rose.

Stanley just because I think it's a nice solid manly name. Rose because I'm unoriginal and it's my last name.

Edit: Or if I wanted something a little wackier I'd go with Tycho Brahe. Oddball, but still believeable as long as nobody who checks it likes PA.

It's a real name. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tycho_Brahe] Unless you don't look Swedish or forget your metal nose you should be okay.

Someone actually used this name. Do you know who?
Vash from Trigun. Double post btw.

Mine would be...... Smith. John Smith.

Can someone guess who I'm thinking of that uses this alias?

John Smith. Either you're obsessed with Pocahontas or Doctor Who. :)
