What games are your family members into?
My grandma is the one who got me into the First-Person Shooter genre with Wolfenstein and Doom. She likes them because they're, as she put it, "psychologically theraputic" (she does have her Master's in Psychology, so I believe her over anyone else). She also likes to play them on the harder difficulties and doesn't like using cheats.
My mom likes solitaire and poker on the computer, but one of these days, I'd like to see her try one of my games, something with a bit more depth but easy to get into.
My bro-in-law likes survival horror and strategy games, like Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Manhunt, and Lord of the Rings on the PC. I got my first Playstation from him.
My sis isn't much of a gamer anymore, but she liked the Super Mario series back in the day. I think she still has the Gameboy Advance SP with the port of Super Mario 3.
