I just looked onto the Exotic Pets thread and I instantly came up with this one, so thanks for the idea. :p

I have always wondered what you guys would want if you can have any Fantasy pet from anything you saw and it would be created in the world and many people would own them and it happens that you own one as well.

It can be from a game, movie, book, manga, anime and etc, pretty much anything, and you could afford all the food, shelter, training and etc for it.

and try to think about this, don't say dragon because you just played Skyrim, just think of the pet you have always wanted, frankly I don't even care if you say a manbearpig, but take it seriously.

It would be awesome if you could post a picture and why you wanted it. (Also please make the pictures within a spoiler, don't want any of our computers dying on us.)

I look forward to see your answers. :D

If I could have one, I think I would have a anthropoid dog. (Basically a human version of a dog) And no, I would not own one because of a perverted reason, I would want one because it would be cool to see how it would interact with the world and other people and what it does in life even though it looks like an actual human but it isn't.

I thought the timing was a bit coincidental :p

Regardless, I might go with a fire lizard from the world of Pern

Small dragonlike being with telepathic and translocation ability that imprints upon a single individual for life.

I would like to have two special pets, both who would be genetically engineered for specific purposes.

The first would be a hedgehog (shocker!), but it would have three times the lifespan of a normal hedgehog (most live to be around 4 to 7 years), be slightly more athletic than a normal hedgehog (just so they can move around the house easier), and be as intelligent enough to learn commands. I've always wanted a pet hedgehog, but have been reluctant to get one because of the short lifespan (which is why I would prefer a dog).

The second would be a chameleon with perfect invisible camouflage and always being near me or perched on my shoulder or back. I would just like it to be protective of me and have my back at all times. Also, its tongue should be powerful and strong enough to act like a monkey,s tail to pop someone in the face or disarm them from afar.

Yeah, I don't think that creating these two pets would be that difficult, right?

I'm not sayin' dragons cos of Skyrim. I liked dragons before they were cool, pff!

A griffin would be pretty badass, though I think I'll go with the knowledge seekin' foxes from Airbender series

[sub] Nothin' special, but immortal (probably) and they steal books. AWESOMENESS [/sub]

I agree, though for a fundamentally different reason... the cost of feeding/maintaining them would be astronomical!

OT: A pegasus would be pretty cool...

My answer in the exotic pet thread was a tiger. My answer here is still a tiger. Tigers are freaking awesome, and I don't need fantasy to make them more awesome.

Daxter, from the Jack and Daxter franchise. I mean, apart from his existence meaning that someone had to be exposed to Dark Eco for me to simply have a pet, it would be totally awesome! A pet that you can talk to.

I want a talking grizzly bear that is a vegetarian. I could ride it, cuddle with it, the awesomeness that would peruse would be mind boggling.

The anthropoid dog would be pretty sweet to, but not a male one. Don't need one of those humping my leg. It'd be like having a younger sister who's your best friend.

Honestly, i have always wanted a dragon, espcially if we're going for like a D&D styled wyvern. Small enough to not be too scary, and they're highly intelligent and ridable. I'd love to fly on a dragon, would beat taking the peasent wagon to uni.

Other than that, a pokémon. Cause pokémon is awesome. no idea which one though... tooo tough a choice.

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the roaring 40 ton dragon I'd want

Either that or some kinda Gryphon would be cool.

EDIT: if Pokemon are available as a choice, I'd want Empoleon.

There is only one true answer here, and that answer is Mr. Fish.

simple, Yoshi. He'd be hell to feed but I'd save money on petrol because I would ride him to all destinations

All of the creatures that I really want exist only in my mind and no where else. Not in books, movies, anime, newspapers, rock carvings, cave drawings, not even in the changing shapes and patterns that you see in your carpet. If that counts, respond.

If not, then I guess I would have to say I would want a Skewer mail order from Darwin IV. If you have no Idea what they are, look it up.

I'm struggling to pick between a pack of velociraptors or a T. Rex. Then I remember how cute a little Compsognathus would be. Then I think riding a Triceratops would be cool.

So basically I've decided I just want to own a Jurassic Park. So I can play with all the dinosaurs. (and because this is the ideal fantasy pet, they're all tame and life won't find a way for them to kill me.)

Arcanine! (I'm a dog person)

Alternatively, a dragon familiar (complete with empathic-telepathy). Not a huge dragon, big enough to fly on, but not so big that it couldn't hang out with me anywhere other than an open field.

This very much.

Problem feeding it? where is the problem when it can simply go grab a whale or 2 on the way home? :D
