So fellow escapists, I'm curious, what would your fantasy world be like and who wold you be in it. Be as in depth as yo want including any detail about your world that you want.

I'm sorry, but I don't have years to explain it. I've HAD such a world since before college. Let us just say that it is a world that emulates alot of science fiction and fantasy in a manner that is darkly entertaining. Also, I am completely insane in some of the things I've concocted there.

Eh, much of what we have today would seem fantastical a few short generations ago.

The appeal seems not to have superpowers, but to have more superpowers than everyone else, or at least most people. It's a zero-sum game, unfortunately.

Women dressed like question marks!

That is the most erotic fantasy world I've ever heard of!

This shall be my fantasy too. And I'll be the riddler from Batman! They'll be all over me.

Are you asking me about my personal lexicon of imaginary things?

Okay I will tell you about the nerkza; I.e that robot I have as my avatar.

It is a robot that shoots lightning and has a plasma globe head that is named "Nerkza". These robots are very advanced in tech, but despite that can't use it in any well thought out or clever way. They seem to always forget that they can use lightning for more purposes than zapping living life forms for example. The Nerkza are a result of a race of life forms who tried to ascend into immortality by uploading their mind to a bunch of cyborgs. However, their upload caused a very bad side-effect; it actually killed the life forms who "uploaded their mind" in their process meaning that they effectively near genocided themselves. Although obviously there are some pre-upload nerkza still around, but not many because it is actually a quite recent event, only happening 890 years ago. (millions in the galactic scale isn't that large if I am right.)

Another notable thing about post-upload nerkzas is that they are very solitary, and often pilot spaceships that have the ability to "squeeze" stars into oblivion alone. These spaceships are very large and easily detected, and take a couple weeks for the "squeeze" to finally cause the star to supernovae. While any space-faring empire can avert a nerkza attack (2 weeks is a good enough frame of time to board the nerkza ship and kill the pilot of the ship), non-space faring races are pretty screwed if one shows up in their star system.

An world of infinite self, in which thoughts and reality unite as one. For fantasy is only limited by the power of the imagination. Why create a fixed fantasy world, when it can be so much more? Cloud dancing one day, lazing in the sea the next. The solipsist's paradise realm.

Tie between capsuleer, some other sort of immortal demi god, and being the only male left in a society of young attractive women.

How about immortal demi god that is the only male left in a society full of perpetually young and attractive women...in space.

Oooooooohh... so gotta get the rest of that series... (feel like such a kid now...)

My 'fantasy world' is a somewhat bleak, dystopic, racist, grim, violent and depressing place. And I'm a long time dead in it... ah well, here's to the greatgrandkids...

Primal world, filled with vast forests, oceans, mountains and animals like sabertooth cats, mammoths etc.
Also, the civilizations like those of Hyboria from Conan's universe.

Dark Fantasy. I want a world like our modern one where elves, dragons, vampires, werewolves and mages exist. I'm not talking about a Whedonverse or a Twilightverse where you are only afraid of your hot vampire boyfriend betraying, or goddess forbid, screwing you.

No, I want something like the World of Darkness.

Essentially a world where I am omnipotent and therefore can do whatever I want, including changing the world whenever I grow bored by it.

My fantasy world isn't dark or gritty, because frankly there is far to much of that around these days.

My fantasy world is epic, huge, and contains a epic multi-verse which is epic. It is fun, humorous, but serious on occasions and shall end with one huge battle.

The ability to conjure food and drink at will. Living in a Cyberpunk wonderland would be alright I suppose but the ability to snap my fingers and instantly have a dorito-shell taco would be fucking awesome! Sure it would be great to travel bodily into the past with infinite money so as to live through the 80's buying everything Nintendo and Sega releases but that's what the internet and, play N trade are for. I'd much rather be able to snap my fingers and have a freshly steamed bucket of crab legs and, spiced shrimp.

Exactly this world, but only after I lived it once and this time I know everything I learned last time.
