Hello insignificant mortals in today's super ultra mega super duper la la la flipy wippy thread the question is what your fav parody. It can be a parody of anything from music to a tv show simple isn't it.

My favourite music parodies usually stem from Weird Al. I don't have a particular preference from his songs, but I would always choose him for parodying music.

If you were a wrestling fan back in the 90's you probably remember this one. It does make fun of a few of the greatest of all time, but damn if I didn't fall over laughing the entire time. (AA knows how much I love him and I'm proud I got to work one match with the late, GREAT Curt Hennig. I miss you, Boss.)

I love the thousands of parodies on Youtube. From the ones made from a guys boredom to the more well known ones. Some are pretty racist but I don't think so. One of the greatest songs to be parodied: I gotta feeling.

Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged.

Yes it counts.

That or Chris Moyles, boy knows how to sing and make you laugh.

Calumon: After listening to that, I'm kinda hungry.

Robin Hood Men in Tights, History of the World Part 1 and the permanently forth coming History of the World Part 2, Dracula Dead and Loving it, and of course Blazing Saddles. What can I say I love Mel Brooks

These 2 had all my favourite parodies. I would have to add Kung Pow to the list though. Ace Ventura is also a parody of the crime genre too I s'pose.

Naked gun, a couple of other Leslie Nielson movies and Austin Powers are worth mentioning too.

Silence Of The Hams, I picked it up in a bin of free VHS tapes out of morbid curiosity and I loved it, especially Dr. Animal Cannibal Pizza.

Galaxy Quest.

Not only an absolutely hilarious Star Trek parody, but a great film in its own right. This is how a parody should be done.

One sadly forgotten one by the South Park guys was 'That's My Bush!', not so much a parody on the obvious target of George Bush, even tho he is an idiot throughout every episode.

It's actually a brilliant parody of godawful US sitcoms, making fun of all the tired old tropes that crop up, the dumb man of the house, the neighbour who can just pop in at any time and fix problems, the audience whooping any time anything female appears on screen, etc, etc.

I think it's a great comedy show and sadly underrated and unknown.

Excuse the weird site, seems youtube and the more popular ones have been stomped all over by lawyers.

EDIT: seems it's an episode I've never seen too, where Laura Bush is holding an anti drugs rally in the Whitehouse, and George Bush accidentally takes a load of esctasy tablets. :D
