The COD 4 glitch that lets your walk on air, or the Condemned 2 glitch where if a body gets stuck in a door, and if you open it the body flies all over the level. It's hilairious.

In the Fable TLC, the exploit where you buy all the diamonds in Bowerstone North, then sell them all back to the vendor for profit. Okay, I understand I have high guile, but seriously?

I loved the oakvale and bowerstone north shop glitch in fable TLC, buy all the gems and sell them back, it was slow at the beginning since I could only buy enough fish to bring in a profit but I got loads as soon as I could mass purchase gems, I got master weapons as soon as I could get to oakvale so I kicked arse.

That is pretty intense.

My favourite glitch was in GTA: San Andreas, going under the map with a Jetpack (this one house near the Vinewood sign in Los Santos has a corner that if you run into you fall through). You can go anywhere under the game, and if you want back into Area 69! Good times....

It's a pain in the ass when you're trying to sell 300+ Welkynd stones for approx. 700 gold each when the buyer only has 1000 gold on them.

That was a long, long, long day.

As a curiosity, I'd say the hidden floating world in the GTA games. It makes you see something you were never meant to see, and that feels a slight bit like hacking the Matrix.

As for actual gaming glitches, I loved the one that allowed you to have a virtually unlimited inventory in Deus ex. I really hate limited inventory in FPS games, even in FPS/RTS hybrids, so I used that extensively in order to be able to carry every gun in the game (save for a few like the flamethrower that never saw any use).

The "Rare Candy/MissingNo" glitch in Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow, as well as the copying glitch in Pokemon GOld/Silver/Crystal. Made levelling up that much easier.

The infinite ammo glitch for the staves in Oblivion (I have the PS3 version).

Simply, have two of the same types of staff, being identical not only in type, but condition and ammo/magicka levels as well. If they are similar, they'll be stacked if they're unequiped. Equip the staff, open fire, and unequip to "reload".

It's great for those days when you just want to blow everything away.

At least in Morrowind there was the mudcrab merchant with his 10k gold.

In Arx Fatalis, the PC version was bugged so that many objects such as ladders couldn't be climbed, meaning that the player got stuck in the scenery. However, it meant that if you continuously walked into a wall, eventually you'd pop out into the black nothingness of outside the game, where you only had the map for guidance. Made some bits possible, some bits hilarious.

Ah, Doom 3:

was playing and all of the sudden one of the demons started following me. It wouldn't die and it shot fireballs at other demons. Then, when I got out of that area, he ran off, and the game promptly crapped out on me.
