Can't really beat ff7 in my eyes. It was challenging, long, had a great story line, fun combat and character develpment, and an awesome soundtrack. If you can look past the fact that the characters all look like dolls because of system limitations and the fact that the main characters all have to over-compensate with overly-porportioned swords, then its an amazing game. Fallout three is good too, though.

For Diablo, do you mean the Single player? or the multiplayer. if Multiplayer than you can't use it

Many of the replies to this thread remind me of the title of a Peter Jackson film.

I've lost a lot of respect for many of the posters here.

Neverwinter Nights.

I really liked the story and also the gameplay for some reason, which is odd, since I didn't like the gameplay in Baldurs gate, Neverwinter Nights 2 and Dragon Age: Origins and it is essentially the same thing. NWN gameplay just felt sharper for some reason and the view of your character and surrounding area seemed so much clearer.

The expansion packs were really good as well, both good stories that kept me interested.

I'd like to say Planescape: Torment but I got stuck somewhere in the beginning. It certainly looked promising as a story but if you can't find your way around how are you gonna build an opinion on it.

I'd like to say Baldur's gate but I kept dying after pretty much every battle soon after the start. It was too tedious so I stopped

So I'm saying the Witcher. Sapkowski and/or CDPR really know how to include great moral dilemmas in their writing.

For me, it's TES IV : Oblivion.
It's everything I wanted in Morrowind and more, I never play the main quest so I'm not too bothered about the story in Oblivion. The Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild missions were entertaining for a while, aswell as many hours of replay value available.

For me, it's Baldur's Gate 2. I still play that game, about 10 years after its release. Although, in all honesty, I'm having a ton of fun wit Dragon Age. Probably the only reason it hasn't knocked BG2 out of the top spot is longevity. It just came out. Who knows if I'll still appreciate it 10 years from now the way I do the BG series.

This has nothing to do with what you wrote. I'm just wondering where your avatar comes from. it seems familiar but I can't place it and it's driving me crazy (well not really, but you know what i mean).

So yeah, what is it?
Bruce Campbell as Ash in Evil Dead 2. The infamous laughing scene.

Bruce Campbell should get more movie roles... he kicks major ass!
