I actually thought that Altiar and Simon would become the same person and own in the second one, so eagle vision didn't come as much as a surprise for me.

Yeah, it makes sense. So much sense, in fact, that I kind of feel dumb for not predicting it.

I'm hoping that the second can somehow integrate their perfect synchronization into gameplay.

I don't think it's really a spoiler. AC has been out forever, and it's been known you're not Altair for a quite some time.

And then you have people such as me who have never played the game and are looking into it.

Wow, you guys kinda suck it up bigtime here.

First thing that comes to mind, we have Sam and Max's little shooting gallery, which was fun (and the originator for the whole SSB thing). But, I'd actually give that to the Secret of Monkey Island credits - insisting on berating you for sticking around and actually watching the credits, that is - were I to go with an adventure.

The Ur-Quan Masters/Star Control 2 was essentially the originator of the 'bad jokes that break the fourth wall', though, so it's gotta be the winner here. Certainly.

An eater egg i liked was in halo 2 the Grunt party skull where if you beat a lvl (name escapes me right now) on legendary then you go under the level pretyt much and you see a ring of grunts dancing I like beating them to death with the skull

I guess strictly speaking this isn't a bonus, but I like the pictures during the final credits for Resident Evil 4, where it shows drawings of how the Las Plagas happened. It's just still photos, but it's one of the most haunting things I've ever seen in a video game.

I kind of consider them the same basic plot device.

If I had to seperate them though, I'd have to say Simon getting Eagle Vision. That was unexpected.
