Oh man, A's gets so much better than the first series, it's not even funny. Keep watching! And if you read the lyrics to Eternal Blaze, they're still a perfect capture of the dynamic that you said you liked - all of the series theme songs are sung by Nana Mizuki (Fate's VA) so they're kind of all a reflection of that.NeutralDrow said:Hard choice, of course, but so far Eternal Blaze hasn't gripped me as much as Innocent Starter...'cept the opening animation, of course, A's is much cooler in that regard. I like the first one a lot because it's a good song, and because it described the Nanoha/Fate dynamic (my favorite part of the show) so well. I'm only five episodes into A's so far, so that might change.
...come to think of it, I also like "Make a Little Wish" more than "Spiritual Garden," but I think that might be simply because of the first season's last episode.
I love you. <3Azraellod said:Hm... that's difficult. Recently though I've been rather enjoying the opening music from Umineko no Naku Koro ni.
Idk, I guess I always held anime up on this artistic pedistal to actually have some kind of introspective meaning, the good ones at least. Pokemon was great fun in the day, but its not something that I can maturely watch now without giggleing.Queen Michael said:How is it not anime? It's a cartoon from Japan, doesn't that make it anime? The style of drawing isn't exactly un-anime-like either.CrimsonAssassin said:I know its not exactly anime and is so Americanized its not even funny, but I can still recite the Pokemon theme song word or word and love it even after all these years.
I suppose that depends on your tolerance for dire pretend hair-rock. Mine is low. (That said, the only adequate description of the first Japanese op for Pokemon is "offensively bland".)Snork Maiden said:The Pokemon theme is probably the only theme that gets *better* in the english version.CrimsonAssassin said:I know its not exactly anime and is so Americanized its not even funny, but I can still recite the Pokemon theme song word or word and love it even after all these years.
