The game that you look for or is the first one you go to. I would go for MVC2 or MVC3(found one in a bowling alley)and if neither I just play good old Guilty gear and if I feel energetic ,I just play DDR

I would say that I have always been fond of playing any Metal Slug title in the arcade. It's always fun to show how far I can go with one life before some wondering glowing ball hits my distracted character, falls back and dies. I can actually get to the third stage of any title without losing a life, which is pretty awesome.

The Simpson's Arcade Game. That was MY beat-em-up arcade game. Whenever I ran across a Simpson's machine, I'd HAVE to play it, even if I didn't have enough quarters on me to beat it.

The day it was made available online, much happiness occurred.

Time crisis 2, the co op was awesome :D

Or house of the dead 3, with its chunky shotguns. Even if they were a bit heavy after a while XD

Dance Dance Revolution.

I think it's the only arcade game I've felt relatively confident about playing.

(Well, until I learned that Guitar Hero arcade machines now exist. I'm confident about those now, too.)

I would commit unspeakable acts if I was able to play Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo in an arcade against a person there. Hell even street fighter 4!

But I can't. I have to make do with whatever I get really depending on where I am. I consider myself lucky if I find a somewhat functional Dancing Stage (DDR for you americans) machine that is actually looked after.

*Might be going to London next week and surely there is a place there that has street fighter*

Yes, you got to lean right and left on a motorbike =D So happy when it come out last week on XBLA. Nowadays though I play whatever version of Time Crisis or one of it's illegitimate offspring that I mainly play in arcades.

Any Time Crisis with the exception of four, which sucked. I can beat them all without losing a life. Takes up a good 30 minutes for £1.00. You get a lot of people watching too, and at heart, aren't we all attention whores?

Anything with a light gun. Glad they made an attachment for the PS2.

Not a House of the Dead fan; game bleeds you dry of all money in existence. It's not even a skill thing, I've seen two guys pay there way up to the final boss on 3 and it was a clusterfuck.

There was one Dungeons & Dragons arcade game for 4 players... that shit was addictive as all hell. Most addictive multiplayer imaginable.

Hazy, imma let you finish, but Time Crisis 4 was the best light gun game of all time. Of ALL time!

But yeah, the Time Crisis series in general just kicks tons of ass.
