Well, all the BEST ones are taken already, so here's a few classics that many might not remember. All awesome:
Say what you will about the show and the movie, but this intro was pretty damn sweet.
Incidentally, the best way to improve Yugioh would be to include super-powered kung-fu mummies. I'd watch it THEN.
This show contains more giant robot monkeys and cyborg raptors than it really needs to be awesome. And I love it for it.
Gundam wing and Dragonball-z. My favorite shows to watch growing up, and the only animes I can watch. Everything else pals in comparison

For Anime (despite some people screaming, I consider Anime to be cartoons, it's just a differant art style and land of origin, combined with usually a slightly higher "mental age level" of writing):

I intentionally didn't mention which shows I decided to use for the surprise factor. Hard choice for me since I've seen a LOT of wierd stuff over the years so it's difficult to point and say "that was the absolute best"
