I'd say Kopps.
For everyone who isn't Swedish, this movie probably isn't that great. But if you speak my language, it owns even Hot Fuzz.
It's dubbed in German, but the part you only need to really watch is the beginning.

As far as funny movies go, then Hot Fuzz, hands down.

I'm going to go with either Chinatown or The French Connection.

Hot Fuzz was good. Though I can't really pin down my absolute favourite cop movie, Hot Fuzz and Police Story.
For comedy cop films Rush Hour (all 3) all the way Chris Tucker and jackie Chan make an awesome team
as for a serious cop film there was a film i watched with Jackie Chan in it, he was trying to bring down this gang of gamers, they made games and competitions out their robberys, it was all spoken in chinese with english subtitles...Gah! for the life of me i cant remember what its called, but it was fuckin awesome
