OP, you do have to explain why Tyrannosaurus Rex.
It's overhyped and has tiny hands.
It's smelly.
I don't like it.

T-rexs were forty feet long 20 feet tall, likely weighed close to ten tons, has teeth that are 7 inches long and is the quintisessential(sp?) therapod dinosaur.

When I think of therapod dinosaurs my first thought is Parasaurolophus.

But maybe I'm just being stubborn as T-Rex is pretty much the Master Chief of the Dinosaur world.
