Chances are, you've seen at least one Disney movie. So the question is simple: which one is your favorite and why? If you have more than one favorite, post them all!

My favorite is easily Mulan. I mean, watch this video.

It's still a good movie to this day.

So what about you? Which is your favorite?

EDIT: Pixar counts, but it might be a little unfair considering the worst Pixar movie is still better than most movies out there.

The only one I remember watching is The Lion King, and I can't actually remember anything about it.

Unless Pixar movies count, I guess that wins by default. Although, like I said, I don't remember anything at all regarding it, apart from the fact that there is a lion.

Awww man, you make me sad :(

I'm not sure if I can pick a favorite. The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Robin Hood, Hunchback of Notre Dame, etc...they're all so damn good.

Alice In Wonderland (the cartoon in case you were confused)

Also one of the few Disney movies without a romance plot.

I think "Tarzan" wins for me. The Music is Awesome and the Pacing is Perfect, and they have Actual Brit's playing the British Explorers.

So you're going to make me choose my favourite Disney movie as well as my favourite movie of all time??

That's easily Aladdin!
I love that movie so much. I just wish I could find it on DVD(we lost the VHS of it =[) so I could watch stuff like this again.

The Lion King is my favourite film ever. According to my friends this is a very sad thing, but it truly is wonderful!

Anyone, who isn't in any way moved by the image of a young Simba curling up to his dead father, doesn't earn my respect.

You know, that's actually a really hard choice considering how nostalgic I get for the movies from my childhood. If I had to pick, I guess I might say The Lion King simply because it's one of the more entertaining ones and it teaches a bunch of valuable lessons and whatnot. Mulan, Robin Hood, Beauty and the Best, and The Little Mermaid all get honorable mention for the same reason.

Atlantis the Lost Empire all the way
Milo Thatch is an awesome adorable dork and all the characters are hilarious!
though Robin Hood is a very close second

Beauty and the Beast. It is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched, and it nearly made me cry. honourable mention to Mulan, because it's freaking amazing, and also because of the song Reflection.

Do Pixar movies count? Because if so, WALL-E. I love that movie. Probably a bit too much for my age, heh, but it appeals so strongly to the sci-fi nerd that is me.

It's a REALLY REALLY tough choice between Aladdin and Tron. I am such a ginormous fan of both. But if I absolutely HAD to choose one of those 2, I would have to go with Tron. for the record though, I fucking LOVE Aladdin.

Hmmmm, I'm kind of split between The Lion King, The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, Tarzan, and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame. Of course, all of the Disney films are awesome, but the ones from the Disney Renaissance (after Don Bluth's departure from the company to make films such as An American Tail and All Dogs Go To Heaven, which were also damn good too) are the best of the bunch, I think. Sadly I've not yet seen the newer hand-drawn films that have been marked as the return to that Renaissance era, though I've heard great things about them and hope to see them soon (I refer, of course, to The Princess And The Frog, and the soon-to-be-released Tangled, based on Rapunzel).

Still, they're all great. I now have the urge to listen to a bunch of Disney songs and sing along again, which will be awkward as it'd almost three in the morning, I have ironing to do, and my flatmates are presumably asleep right now... :p

Indeed, it is an amazing film, however I'm going to be controversial here and admit that I prefer the sequel to the first film. They're both awesome, but the songs in Simba's Pride are just that bit better, and I've always preferred the story of Romeo & Juliet to that of Hamlet (again, both amazing plays though) :p.
