I dunno, Spyro? Not necessarily cus he's inherently amazing - it's partly from a lack of others that spring to mind. It's hard to not love Spyro though - he was the beginning of gaming for me :)

Oh wait - does Charizard count? Cus if so then I'd have to say Charizard :D

Does Bowser count as a dragon?

If not I could mention the Mech Dragon from Megaman 2...wait.

Maybe I should mention Singe, the dragon from Dragon's Lair. I like his design.

Noivern is a very recent addition to my loved dragons:

Professor Oak, what are you doing?

Though Paarthurnax is also still pretty awesome:

The dragons in general from Dragon's Dogma were fantastic representations of dragons. They were tough fights, physically powerful, the stronger ones made good use of magic, and the combat system of that game made all the fights seem truly epic.

Dragon's Dogma had odd power spacing though.

Get Wreckt. Then be overpowered for the base game.
Get wreckt in the post game. Then be over powered as all hell for the post game.
Get wreckt in Bitterblack Isle. Then do alright in Bitterblack Isle. God help you if you try to take on that place without being able to breeze through the post game portion of Dragon's Dogma. It is relentless there and I hope that is what Capcom brings to the table with Deep Down.

My favorite dragon would be jormungandr, from tales of symphonia 2

He looks a lot like the inkanyamba to me.

Paarthurnax and the other Dragons of Skyrim are definitely the sexiest-looking dragons!

Though Malygos and the Netherdrakes from World of Warcraft deserve an honorable mention.

Favorite Dragon Fight? Netherspite from Karazhan in World of Warcraft. Dragon fights feel... puny in single player games to me. Coordinating with others is a much more challenging and elegant task to see when it's pulled off correctly. Netherspite and the three beams makes for an enjoyable and coordinated fight, people have to swap out positions in the beams without dying or letting the dragon have them. There are more challenging fights for sure, but Netherspite always had a certain charm for me.

Big fatty Bahamut from FF14 has grown on me. Plus he succeeds in about three minutes what most world threatening dragons fail to accomplish in years.

Other than him, Grigori for being an absolute badass who spouts fantastic lines.

"Take up arms Arisen...for my kind do not heed the toothless."
"The rantings of an upjumped zealot make for tedious listening."
"One path to your survival, lies in my defeat. Still my heart, and you stay the coming end. Another path before you...is to offer up that which you hold most dear. Abandon all delusions of control."

Liberal interpretation of 'Dragon':
You liberals, always trying to change the definition of 'dragon'.

OT: I'll go with Angelus from Drakengard. Not only did she shut Caim up, but her bemused moments are awesome.

Does Ridley of Metroid fame count? I suppose he could be either more alien or dinosaur, but I'm arguing for dragon since he has arms and... DRAGON.

And of course Spyro, like, the original Spyro. The Elijah Wood Spyro isn't TERRIBLY TERRIBLE, but that little frog from Skylanders can go ahead and not exist anymore

Hhm... Well one of my favorites is Belial from Odin Sphere.

He has such a cool design for one thing, for another, he has a cool name, and for one more, he has a rather tragic backstory.
He's the only dragon in the game that likes humans but he's also under the control of three human wizards. In spite of being aware of the irony, he seems to not hold this against all of humanity.

Oh, so many to choose from...
Can I just list my favorites? If yes, then I'd say a number that have already been mentioned, like Eclipse from Golden Sun, Paarthurnax from Skyrim, and Spyro, but also list a couple of my own, like Shyvana from League of Legends and the Crystalline Dragon that's from Golden Sun; Dark Dawn.

If I can't....
I have no idea who to choose. :/

Grigori from Dragons Dogma

Also one of the best boss fights I've ever done. It was an event.

Plus when he starts talking to you, what a voice.
I cast my vote for Grigori as well - oohhh Capcom, what happened to you?

Grigori, from Dragons Dogma.

Immense, powerful, intimidating and intelligent with an awesome voice and no patience for dipshits. And, for a Dragon, he is actually an alright guy. I mean sure he tries to burn down your home and then tears your heart out and eats it, but thats just general Dragonning. It's his dayjob really. After chatting with and eventually killing him, i really felt that in the entire game he was the only character who actually understood and respected me. And he is so helpful, not many bosses shout encouragement as you fight and kill them.

And a fantastic boss fight. Of course, it helps that Dragons Dogma's combat seems to have been built around boss fights.

Pretty simple...

Dhisufiroa from MH FRONTIER

Absolute badassery in every way. I mean come on, look at this! Suck it all other dragons, yer all wimps compared to a FATALIS/ALATREON CROSSBREED

(By the way that's only him at level 1, his level can reach a maximum of 50000)
