Your Favorite Elderscrolls Race. [Broken Poll]

I would assume we all enjoy a race more so then others in the elderscrolls game. And I was wondering what the escapeists in genral is.

For Disscussion value we could talk about why we like one race more then others...

And as there's only 8... I guess Ill have to combine two...

So sorry for those of the combined races... If you feel the need you can state whitch of them your picked...

And as for my favorite I personally prefer wood elves as Im a fan or archery

Personally it's Wood Elves for me, I've always been a sneaking fan, and I like bows and such, so they're a natural choice. Plus I just love elves in general. Might want to add your own favorite to the OP, always good when someone answers their own question ^_^

That being said: I used to always play as a Nord but recently I've been warming up to the Dunmer (Dark elves)

Argonian, no poison, minimal disease, and anything I piss off I drag into water to fight so I have the upper hand. Plus lizard people are cool.

First played as a Nord, than a Kitty people (Can't spell their damn name right so I substitute). Really depends on combat roll. Nords are good as heavy warriors, kitties are good for when I play archers. Tough call.

For being stupid and overpowered: Breton.

For character: High Elf.

I like Elder Scrolls high elves because they're arrogant, manipulative bastards like I imagine elves should be. I mean, they breed goblin slave armies.. that's kind of cool.

I'm not a fan of mer or men so I would have to chose Aragonian.

Sorry for the bad ryme there. However the Aragoian fluff is awesome. The black mash is ruled by trees/plants. Their roots also are a form of fast travel but you are slowly digested while root riding so very long trips are terminal.

I do also like Orcs and redguards. Then again it depends on how I chose to play.The Actual race I seem to use most is nord so I guess I like R'ham a fair bit too.

Argonian. Poison immunity. Heavy disease resistance. Can breathe underwater. Argonians are immune to some of the most annoying things in the game, which is why they are my favorite race.

I would have to say that my favorite Race is the Argonians. It was always fun to be able to be able to breath underwater and be immune to poison and resistant to diseases.

I love Argonians - I played through both Morrowind and Oblivion as one - but in my most recent play through of Oblivion, I actually really liked my Nord. He suited almost perfectly the Battlemage sort of chap I was going for, and it's probably what I'll start with in Skyrim. Second playthrough though? Definitely Argonian again.

i guess, i always play the cruel evil wizard hellbent on slaughtering the pitiful races beneath his heel.

I always found most of the races, with the exception of the argonian and khajit, rather undifferentiated, in general. I never looked at a guy and had racist urges, despite the fact that I was greeted as "HELLO, ALTMER" at every turn. I really think you're supposed to look at a nord and be like FUCK YOU NORD. But it never happened.

Of course, I was too busy decorating my house with skulls and carefully placing gems in them such that the eyes of the skulls sparkle as i walk by.

I love being a talking lizard thief. Argonians for me. Being able to breathe underwater while being chased by guards can be a godsend.

Argonian - I love reptilian and amphibious races, so it's like two kinds of awesome into one.

I really like all of them equally, it just depends on the type of character I want to play. That said I`m not to fond of the Khajiit and as it has been said, Argonians have some handy immunities.

In the Earlier games, I liked Argonians. In Arena, they just looked like blue alien-things that would go about business srsly, and in Daggerfall, well, there are a few inside jokes that make me play them.
In Morrowind, all the races looked kinda wooden and I couldn't quite get comfortable with something that looked like this:

So instead, I played an Argonian and pretended that my character was a velociraptor. I mean, just picture Amalexia spouting angry discourse at a random dinosaur.

But yeah, I moved to bosmer with mods in Morrowind when I got it for the PC, and carried on with it in Oblivion for the most part.
