"The Claw...it moves!"
If the Claw counts as a god, I'm choosing it. If not, Orcus; he's classic evil, and probably holds the world record for attempted deicide.

Well, I'm something of a traditionalist, so I'm going to have to say Lucifer. The Light-Bearer, the Morningstar, First of the Fallen, all that jazz.

Any dark god can fuck people up with blood sacrifice, armies of devoted followers, and powerful magics.

It takes class to screw over reality with a single piece of fruit.
Is Lucifer a god, though? What defines a God?
I'd say he counts; the OP says they just have to be "Godlike", and Cthulhu's already been confirmed. And as AM City Watch (the counterpoint to the Night Watch?) pointed out, tainting humanity with a Red Delicious is pretty skillful.

If it's a case of "Godlike" and not pure god I'll have to go with Diablo, Mephisto and Baal. Those dudes were badass

Gork and Mork of Warhammer 40k.
Well, they're not really evil, and to quote TV tropes (No link, for your safety):
"Gork and Mork: the ork gods of Cunning Brutality and Brutal Cunning (The subtle distinction being: one hits you when you're not looking at it, the other hits you really hard when you are. Orks have fought wars over which god is which). Reflection of...er...everything Axe Crazy in existence? By the way, those two kinda qualify as nice ones, or at least Comic Relief ones."
If not, Tzeentch of the same universe--the embodiment of hope for knowledge and change. I favor him a slight more than "Grandfather" Nurgle.

Kratos is my favorite 'evil god'. He is the god of war being given that title at the end of the first game. I would argue that he took the title back from Zeus through his actions in God of War III. He was at war with everything and managed to kill Ares.

He is evil and has no redeemable qualities by the end of III.

Set (or Seth) has always interested me. But since he is a real historical deity, I guess I should pick something else. Beliar would be the obvious answer, but as much as I love the games, Gothic lore isn't too particularly fleshed out.

Probably Mehrunes Dagon of Elder Scrolls lore. Not only is he master of my favourite Elder Scrolls race (Dremora), he is also the deity of destruction. He also looks pretty cool and has a realm of hellfire. Aedra and Daedra are divine beings, I'm pretty sure, so I'd imagine he would count. If not, then I have no idea.
Why follow Mehrunes when you can follow the daedric lord of madness and all round fun guy Prince Sheogorath. always an interesting time to be had following this fellow. Occasionally terminally interesting to be sure but fun all the same

...Bowser.

Dude never dies, holds infinite cosmic power, has repeatedly shown that he can never die, subjugates worlds, has crushed his "nemesis" on quite a few occasions and then let said nemesis find a series of power boosts just to have someone on relatively equal ground to spar against. The only reason he loses is that he gives a fair chance to his rival, that it might be fun.

That or Sheogorath. Almost entirely because I'm fond of the batshit crazy fuckers who play with their own non-euclidean die when everyone else is rolling d6's.

Apocalymon is pretty good, what with "destroy all the universes" as a special attack.

Does Hades from the Disney movie count? He's awesome.
I'm not sure why Hades is constantly shown in popular media as a villain. In actual Greek mythology he was a pretty cool guy.
Well, relatively. It's not like there were good and evil gods in that mythology, each god acting in turn savior and prickhead, depending on which mortal we're talking about. He's not exactly bad, but the whole pomegranate/Persephone thing doesn't exactly scream "I'm a nice guy".
Sheogorath rolls a d100 that only goes up to 7 and three quarters. He gets my vote.

I don't really know, but judging by what is referred to as a God(dess) in both Mythology and other fiction, pretty much any being that is powerful enough to be considered one, someone or something powerful enough to crush (most anyway) mere mortals to dust with a wave of their hand. So yeah, Cthulhu and Lucifer quality under that definition.

OT: Me, I'd go with the main antagonist of Tales of Symphonia:

Mithos Yggdrasill

While he isn't worshipped himself, he very well could be if he wanted. He formed a religion specifically around worshipping his sister, who consider her a goddess, even though in reality she has no power whatsoever, it's all him. Mithos also curbstomps the heroes the first couple times you meet him, so he's also ungodly powerful. He is my favorite because unlike other gods he has understandable motivations that they don't just ignore and handwave with that "You can't possibly grasp the reasons for the actions of a higher being" BS that so many other gods in fiction get stuck with. I actually find it hard to kill him at the end of the game.

The Dadric Princes. ALL OF THEM! Oh wait...

Azura is good...

Miridia is a good one too...

Sheogorath isn't inherently evil, just chronically misguided...

Ok so ALL OF THEM but those three.

Right...

Maybe Sheogorath is evil... after all he took away all our cheese.

I don't consider Sheogorath to be evil by any stretch of the imagination. Mischievous and arrogant, sure, but not evil. Besides, Mehrunes appeals to me more.

I want to say Nyarlathotep, the one Outer God who enjoys royally fucking with humanity and, along with every other damned Outer God, can break a person by simply showing them one of his many forms(that isn't a human form).

He also answers to and serves Azathoth. Though, how he can serve a "blind, idiot god" that would unmake him if it were aware of him really is beyond my comprehension.

Too obscure?

Kronos has always been pretty badass on the scale of evil gods.

Nomonomnomnom.
If you study Greek mythology, you'll find that Cronus isn't considered to be a strictly "evil" god. He was only afraid of losing power in one myth and ate his children because of that. Otherwise, he is the god of the harvest and there was a festival in his name. Oh, and he also castrated his father (Uranus), but that's because Gaia (his mother) told him to. He may not be a paragon of virtue, but he isn't outright evil. At least, the Greeks didn't think so.
Thank-you, that was actually exceptionally interesting to know. I didn't study Classical Civilisations for long enough in school to learn that the Greeks still held a festival in his name.
I'd still call eating your own children kinda evil, but heh-ho, that's just my silly new-world perspective!

Lain... come on she has a bear suit...<.<

and she's not particularly evil... she just makes bad choices and doesn't quite understand her powers... or rather abuses them...<.<

Nothing like eating your own babies! Mmmmmmmm.....

I'd have to say Cthulhu is always a good choice, as is the Crimson King.
