That was a parody, not an actual reaction.Curtmiester said:Nothing I can think of beats this...wait angry video game nerd might.
That reminds me, there was an article a few months ago, about some guy who had about 20/30 screens hooked up to WoW, all of which had 4 players going at once.Count_de_Monet said:That is just beautiful...
I think having multiple computers going at the same time for an MMO wins. I used to know a guy who would duo with himself, it was sad.
Holy CRAP I want that so badly. As for me, I've gone as far as buying more than a few 4-in-1 switch boxes so I can have all of my consoles on one TV. And the only one I don't have is the Atari Jaguar.Mercanary57 said:http://www.gearfuse.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/303873242_e092413862_b.jpg

I was going to say this [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4137782.stm], but I think yours shows better geekdom, as he went to such massive lengths in order to play a social game entirely alone, whereas all my guy did was die, which takes relatively little effort.brettman170 said:This. I seen that, now that is true obsession. The pic in the OP isn't really obsession to me, the guy just likes a little variety.needausername said:That reminds me, there was an article a few months ago, about some guy who had about 20/30 screens hooked up to WoW, all of which had 4 players going at once.Count_de_Monet said:That is just beautiful...

You could build that yourself if you wanted to spend some time. All you need is a few 80 - 120 mm LED case fans, a DVD shelf, a few power tools and maybe a saturday afternoon to put it all together.darrinwright said:Holy CRAP I want that so badly. I could and will never understand how people can kill hemsevles while playing a video game like this?NekoAnastasia said:I was going to say this [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4137782.stm], but I think yours shows better geekdom, as he went to such massive lengths in order to play a social game entirely alone, whereas all my guy did was die, which takes relatively little effort.brettman170 said:This. Sometimes it's obsession, other times I suppose it's stupidity. There was a story about a young boy who died of heart failure after playing for an entire weekend, because his mother was out working two jobs and wasn't home to tell him to go to bed or eat dinner, etc. If you need to be reminded in order to eat and sleep, and otherwise stay alive, you probably deserve to die.Bigfatstupid said:I could and will never understand how people can kill hemsevles while playing a video game like this?
Really. It's kinda pathetic. I love my video games and all but I sure as hell wouldn't starve myself just so I could play through all the difficulty levels of Devil May Cry in one week.
