You know those moments in a game, where something happens that reminds you why you are alive and why you love gaming? Those moments that put you completely at ease with the world and make you feel happy? What's your favorite? The one that I'm pulling off the top of my head would be the good ending to BioShock. For those of you who've played it, you know what I'm talking about. For those of you that don't, play it and see if a tear is shed there. ^_^

Uncharted 2's ending comes to mind. Not nearly as impacting as BioShock's, but it did make me chuckle to myself a bit.

Random moments in The Sims 2 can be pretty majestic as well, actually, imo. Just those quiet, subtle occasions where everyone in your household is asleep and the morning is just starting to arrive....yeah...

Oh Dyran, you little overly sentimental bastard you.

One example for me would be the endings of the Professor Layton games, when everything is wrapping up. It's usually happy and sad, but I always feel really glad to have played such an amazing game

The very existence of Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

Also, Zhang He's ending in Dynasty Warriors 5, it's made out of pure win...

This is the first thing that came to mind:

I like how they stuck a quick snatch from the first game's soundtrack in there. Nice touch.

There's a scene in inFamous 2 where Cole and Zeke just watch an old western. If you've seen it, you probably know what I mean. If you haven't...It's kind of hard to explain. Even I found a clip, I think it only really works with a LOT of context behind it. Suffice to say that it really makes you believe that these guys are best friends. Fantastic scene from a very underrated game.

Possibly the endings for both Dead Space and Halo CE as they are rather similar but both signify the same thing. That is, reaching the end of a hard and, in Isaac's case, terrifying journey.
And the first time you rang a bell in Dark Souls. I remember thinking omfg I've finally done something important.
