What is your favorite fight? This can be from a movie, game, anime, comic, book, boxing match, UFC beat down, or anything else you can think of.
I'm going to select a fight from the manga 666 Satan (O-Parts Hunter in the states). About halfway through the series, we get a small tournament that various characters join. Our hero, Jio Freed, and his friends enter hoping to acquire the Ultimate O-Part as it is supposedly the prize. This fight takes place in Chapters 40 and 41, but it doesn't include Jio or any of his actual party members. This fight is between Jin and Shuri. What makes this interesting is that its literally a fight between fire and ice. Hope and despair. Each character had even seen their parents killed before their eyes.
Jin uses an O-part named Ashura, its a sword like weapon capable of making a normal flame. It's worth noting that when we first met Jin, Ashura's flame was black and would consume everything it touched. It was explained that this was due to Jin's corrupted spirit that was full of hate. But in this fight, the flame is blue and its explained that its because of the high quality of his spirit, which is no longer consumed with hatred, and his mastery over his weapon. Shuri uses an O-part named Wraith, a razor-sharp chain, he can control its every movement and it is capable of forming ice.
The fight goes back and forth with each character using various over the top special attacks and negating each others abilities with their own. Multiple times you'll think one of them just died only to find that Jin took advantage of an optical illusion or Shuri covered himself in ice. In the end, they each use their strongest attacks and Jin wins. This is due to fire having no limit in temperature, while ice is limited to absolute zero as its lowest temperature. Just go with it. Jin destroys Shuri's weapon, but leaves him alive believing that Shuri isn't as devoid of hope as he claims.
This is one of my favorite fights from the whole series. There are plenty of other good fights, but this one seems to be one of the most balanced and interesting of them all. Plus, Jin is an awesome character.
So, what about you? Got any great fights you wanna share?
