Shadowhearts covenant is my favourite PS2 game, my mum got it by accident from a rental shop instead of Kingdomhearts because my copy broke, this is something i do not regret.

For me, it has to be either:
GTA San Andreas
Crash 'N' Burn
or
A-Train 6
I just found them really fun, despite them not being particularly big or (except GTA obviously) popular

My favorite PS2 happens to be my favorite game on any platform:

- Shadow of the Colossus.

Other games that rank very high for me:

- Metal Gear Solid 3
- Okami
- Final Fantasy XII
- Final Fantasy X
- We Love Katamari
- Star Wars Battlefront 2

PS2 has such an amazing library. :3

I always loved my PS2, but thinking back on it I realised there were very few games I actually loved on the thing.

My favourites:
- Ratchet and Clank series (including Deadlocked)
- Champions: Return to Arms
- Resident Evil 4

I'm sure I'll think of others after this though.

Got to be Persona 4. Probably one of the best JRPG's in a series of typically good JRPG's. It's got a refreshing setting, and interesting blend of game-play styles that work well together, and some really likable characters.

Okami, and I don't even own it on that system. That's how much I enjoy that game.

I'm torn.

Metal Gear Solid 3 comes to mind first. It's probably my favourite video game plot ever, and my favourite game in the MG series. The ending is still such a tearjerker.

Also on my radar is Kingdom Hearts II. The gameplay was fun and man on man I loved exploring all of those Disney worlds. I felt like I was 4 again when in 100 Acre Woods.

Oh god the ninjas....they're everywhere. So yeah quick bits Personas 3,4(still on 3 myself but love it so far), both kingdom hearts (still waiting on kh3 -.-) all the ratchet and clanks (no seriously ALL...well maybe not size matters or the clank spy one(never played those myself)) star wars battlefront 1,2 both are good but 2 lets you play as all the main villians from the movies series from greivous to vadar from chewy to yoda jedi, sith and bounty hunters galore. FFX was nice never really got far into FFX-2, any of the katamaris for some druged up tripy fun, gta 3/san andres were good for random shooting sprees and joy rides and decent tunes on the radios. If your looking for racing/random vehicular fun theres burnout revenge for wonderful car crashing.

Ones I did not see, .hack the original 4 and the g.u. trilogy were really nice doubt you'll find them anywhere(the whole series at least) it's a pretty nice rpg a bit hack/slash each set had its reason it was better then the other the first 4 were more free for combat (I was fighting about 25 creatures at once on one map), and the g.u.'s have a bit more fluid controlled combat giving you buttons to quick cast spells neither version let you chose your class unfortunately only .hack/fragment did that and it was never released in america -.-.

The fatal frames where pretty nice survival horror (I think they are still 20-30 bucks though :/) if you weren't/aren't a fan of the old RE and Silent hill style games though you most likely won't like them. Oh and pro tip, save, every five damn minutes save your game I lost an hours worth of progress from a bloody instakill boss -.-.

Think thats about it...captcha: do you do your own landscaping? I think it is suggesting you get harvest moon XD

Ratchet and Clank 2: Going Commando - It's my 2nd favourite game of all-time and it's just damn brilliant!

also

Timesplitters 2 - It's my 3rd favourite game ever and I have many happy memories playing this with my brother and friends.

Haven't really played a wide enough range on it to be a proper judge, but I'm going to buck the trend by saying GT4 (for all its faults, it is still a compelling race game, and it is at least way better than GT3)...

...plus take your pick of the GTAs.

The original Guitar Hero/Rock Band releases...

...and I still have a soft spot for the original SSX (and SSX 2), because it was more or less the first PS2 game I had serious exposure to and although the overall graphic quality is much closer to a launch title than an end-of-life one, the style of it all is just so pretty. All the coloured lights playing on the twilight snowscape. Sort of puts me in mind of various late 90s PC versions of PSX games somehow (which it was a spiritual continuation of I guess?), like the wet levels of Driver et al. And its soundtrack is still a fixed feature in my mp3 rotation.

The Silent Hill series, Shadow of The Colossus, and Resident Evil 4 are all certainly up there.

Kingdom Hearts and its sequel. (Re:Chain of Memories, while better than its GBA counterpart, ranks pretty low for me in the series.)

They're basically perfect.

Another game I can play over and over again is Sly 2: Band of Thieves.

A bit of an obvious answer from me since I've brought it up a lot, but Silent Hill 3.

I love that game to bits because everything about that game fits so perfectly together.

The music is pretty damn bitchin' too. :D

You ask an IMPOSSIBLE question. You know that, right? RIGHT? I believe you are an evil person who is deliberately trying to cause people's heads to explode. Well, I won't fall for your game. Kingdom Hearts. Ha!...No, wait, Final Fantasy X, or maybe X-2. Then again, I played the living daylights out of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. And I love the .Hack games...uh, Xenosaga Episode 1, or what about Silent Hill 3. Suikoden V was a throwback to the good Suikodens, so...no, no, I got this. I got--(BOOM!)
...
...
Evil person.

Next I'd say
Godhand
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2
Odin Sphere
Shadow Hearts: From the New World. (Probably the wackiest and most colorful characters in a game)
