I think i am gonna have to go with a game i don't often see discussed around here....... Time Splitters 2. That was my favorite game on the gamecube, and i still play it on the wii every now and again. One minute your blowing the arms of zombies in the sewers of Notre Dame in 1895, and the next your fighting fished-eyed aliens on an distant planet in 2280. ahhh, nostalgia!

Secret of Mana for the SNES. Words cannot describe how much I love that game. It might just be nostalgia since I haven't played it in years, but I can promise you that if I still had a SNES, I would be playing it everyday for... a very long time.

Favourite? I'm not good at picking but a more obscure gem that I loved was UPF (United Peace Force). It was a great game. You had to fly an air combat sim while also being a heavy deployment platform. A sort of Dog-fighting/dropship. So great. Back in 2002, I think, on the PS2.

The first three Devil May Cry games on the PS2, any DMC game made after that is nought but heresy

I thought it was pretty much unanimous that DMC2 was the black sheep of the series. I've only played 3 and 4 (which I like a lot, but not as much as 3) though.

Seeing as how the DS is now "last-gen," I'm going to have to go with what I consider to be the most awesome game ever, Mega Man Zero Collection.

2 may have been the black sheep, but at least it was focused-on-the-main-character-of-the-series, with an optional character you could play if you felt like it. Notwithstanding the fact that, while out of the first three DMC games 2 was my least favourite, it's still up there as one of my favourite games of all time. I really don't like it when they have an established setting, with an established main character, and then they bring out some blasphemy of a game where you can only play as the main character for, like, half of it (looking at you MGS2).

I just... Liked Dante so much more than i could ever like Nero. I think Yahtzee said it best when he said "Nero is a p*ssy, while Dante is more of a c***" Dante, while not in the Chuck Norris league of manly, is still badass enough to pull off -all- of his one-liners. But now there's 4, with that whiny b*tch Nero, and 5 coming up, with crack-addled Dante.

I do apologise for the partially-blanked-out language, and the rant that accompanied it, but we all have characters we adore, and Dante is the game-character that i love most <3 (in a purely platonic way)

Kingdom Hearts 2, Super Mario Sunshine, and Tony Hawk UnderGround.

I don't see how everyone hates SMS. Maybe its just because I played SMS before SM64, but I always liked SMS better.
