The Half-Life series. Even though I know that to make Gordon Freeman speak would likely be a sin beyond all redemption (or it would be condemned as one, anyway), I still think that there is a possibility, however slight, that it could be done well. As such, here is my dream cast for the series:

Gordon would have to be either Gary Oldman or Edward Norton, and I'm leaning heavily towards Norton. Hmm....perhaps Ross Scott?

Alyx Vance would be...hmm. I'm not sure, actually. Maybe the woman who played Kyra from Riddick? What was her name? Alexa Davalos.

Barney Calhoun should be Matthew Broderick, because I remember how well he did as Ferris Bueller and Inspector Gadget.

Eli Vance: Morgan Freeman. Next!

I'm thinking that Alanis Morissette would make a great Judith Mossman!

Michael Cane as Odessa Cubbage for a nice cameo.

Helmut Bakaitis as Wallace Breen. Even though I didn't really care for The Matrix Reloaded, I thoroughly enjoyed Helmut's pragmatic and yet sheer callous indifference for the lives of so many, and it also helps that he kind of looks like Dr. Breen.

Finally, as a joke, I would have Arnold Schwarzenneger as Adrian Shepherd. No, I'm kidding. In reality, it would probably be another cameo with Vin Diesel.

As for any scientists/civilians/security guards/military, you could just hire pointless stand-ins who know the basics of acting, as those minor roles aren't really important anyway.

Those are the ones that I can think of. I know there are other important characters, but I can't think of any good actors to portray them.
