Thread is simple.

What was your favorite game that no one else seem to remember/played?

For me, it would have to be this FREAKING AWESOME game.

Yeah, I got one.

EDIT: I have no idea how to embed links. Fail.

Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman

A little rough around the edges but I have yet to see anything that really equals the whole uniqueness of this game.

Fixed that for you.

I haven't made a game myself. So I couldn't have made one that I'd have never told anyone about, making myself the only one to ever play it. But enough with the buzz-killing...

Oh, I really don't know. Well, first I thought of a rarer Amiga title, but come to think of it, I don't know anyone, in real life, who would've played, let's say, Civilization V.

Ah, I absolutely loved that game, I must have played it dozens of times. Especially the Bonus Level, Balue's Tower, that was amazing. And oddly, for a kiddie platformer, it had a really good plot too, better than some newer, more 'hardcore' game plots I could name today...

Anyway, my game would be Alter Echo:

I basically picked it up for the PS2 after I saw a friend (who had it on the original Xbox) playing it, wayyyy back at secondary school. Great gameplay with a fairly unique style, lovely art for the time, and again, a great and well-developed plot (and characters too). It's a shame it never had a sequel made, it fully deserved one and had some great plot threads to tie up that would have been perfect for a sequel. Ah well, maybe someone will do a remake in five years or so. That would be good enough for me, I guess...

Hmm...

Well, absolutely no one I know has played Blast Corps, and that's pretty good.

As for amazing games, I thought the Zelda oracle games for the Game boy were really under appreciated.

It is a (admittedly weak) FPS where you play as a ghost who can posses people/animals/objects. What it lacks in FPS gameplay it makes up for with originality and decent story. Plus hurling endless grenades at your enemies never gets old.

The first Turok game I got was

Now THAT was brilliant, one of my favourite games back then. In fact, it was so good I bought it off Amazon a couple of months ago for £2! Bargain!

I've had it on my mind to play that game forever now. Sadly it looks like it will be a while yet before I play it seeing how my PS2 is in awful shape.

Edit: Also, is your box art spoiler tag supposed to open to that "pwned" thing?

When I try to talk about Robotron 2084 or Herzog Zwei no one seems to know what I am talking about.

More or less anything from Spiderweb. Personally, I liked Exile3/4 the best, but the other stuff wasn't bad, just not as good.

Rez?
Wait, that one was ported to Xbox Live... but still nobody really plays it.

Terranigma, then, an amazing JRPG that only came out in Japan and Europe.
Ah, the benefits of emulation!

I loved this game. My ex used to have it for her Gamecube, and I would thoroughly ignore her while I played it for hours on end. I liked how the entire game is basically a puzzle, a problem to be solved by possessing the right thing or person at the right time.

For me, it would be Omega Boost for the PSX. You fly around as a mech in space, shooting at horribly pixellated badguys. The thing that I loved the best was the early auto lock-on feature.

It'd probably be immensely wrong to say no one played it, but it often feels like it. The Ace Attorney series, I am absolutely mad about. Yet, once you've beaten it, there's nothing to do but talk about how awesome all the twists were with your friends. Yet, none of my friends get around to trying it.

I'll always have a secret love for Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace.

Yea, I know the film was utter shit, but it was the 1st game I ever played on my PS1 and I found hidden bonuses in that game I swear no-one else found (I can get a rocket launcher on the first level :D).

Plus, I swear this game has been wiped from history. I have never seen it (other than my own copy) or heard anyone speak of it; which is a shame because (I think) it was the first game to invent the 'multiple dialogue tree' for in-game use.
