Anyway, my game would be Alter Echo:
I've had it on my mind to play that game forever now. Sadly it looks like it will be a while yet before I play it seeing how my PS2 is in awful shape.

Edit: Also, is your box art spoiler tag supposed to open to that "pwned" thing?
'Pwned' thing? I have no idea what you're talking about, my good man. Inside the spoiler tag is the Xbox box art for Alter Echo, nothing more. And as soon as your PS2 is better, I deeply urge you to play that game. It is indeed worth it profoundly. I sold my copy years ago, and it was one of the worst things I ever did as a gamer, Roman genocide notwithstanding. I've tried to track down a copy since to no avail, which is odd as it's hardly a rare game, though as I'm now at university I don't exactly have any more PS2 access anyway (it being my family's and all), and I have no idea if it'll work on my Xbox 360... :p

After doing a google search I found this website:

http://www.pwned.com/

The image I'm seeing is a picture of the logo at the top left of their home page except it also says "OHSNAP!" at the bottom for some reason. I have no idea why it's there and if I'm the only one seeing it then...that's weird.

Project: Snowblind. I've posted it on every one of these "obscure game" type threads, and I haven't met one person that's played it. It's one of my favorite games too!

That is indeed somewhat bizarre, though after doing some research (i.e. checking the picture URL) it does indeed come from that website. I just found the image at random on Google Images, so yeah... :/

When I try to talk about Robotron 2084 or Herzog Zwei no one seems to know what I am talking about.
If a gamer hasn't heard of Robotron 2084 they need their head kicked in.

OT: Probably The Tick for the SNES or S.C.U.D.: The Disposable Assassin on the Saturn. Both great games and to think they are both licensed games to boot.

I know right? I played that game about 4 years ago, but I was too bad at it to get far. Still one of the most unique and entertaining games I've ever played.

OT: Brutal Legend on the Xbox 360. I rarely hear from anyone about that game.

Return to Krondor. I'm fairly sure the only reason remember it to be so good is because I can barely remember the game at all, but I'm devastated that nobody seems to have even heard of it. I mean, within my social circle. It's entirely possible everyone and their mothers played the game, but no one that I know of.

EDIT: Sorry, I'm a retard. I meant Betrayal at Krondor.

Rez?
Wait, that one was ported to Xbox Live... but still nobody really plays it.

Terranigma, then, an amazing JRPG that only came out in Japan and Europe.
Ah, the benefits of emulation!
People must've played Rez, since they're porting/have ported Space Channel 5 Part 2 to XBL and are making Child of Eden.

On a similar note: Vib-Ribbon. It was also only released in Japan and Europe, and it's surprisingly awesome. One of the first rhythm games to actually allow you to use your own music (in 1999! on the PS1! WHAT IS THIS SORCERY~), it has aged really well thanks to the cool vector graphics and awesome music.

I think my input here has to be the Psychic Force series. It was an anime-styled beat-em-up where people with elemental abilities floated around in weird glass cubes and kicked the living daylights out of everyone.

I absolutely loved Vib-Ribbon. My friend had it and we used to pretty much just gather CDs and try playing them on the hardest difficulty. Good times.

Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman

A little rough around the edges but I have yet to see anything that really equals the whole uniqueness of this game.
Rising Zan! Holy hell. Thought I was the only one who knew of that game.
I wish I had bought it for $20 the other day at gametraders :(
As for me, mine would have to be Dune, the game that started the command and conquer series.

That game... was okay as an fps, but in terms of it being the "spritual succesor" to deus ex, it was a travesty.
I love invisible wars and go back to it frequently.
I will never play snowblind eer again.

Too Human, I liked it, you probably didn't or didn't even play it!
I actually quite enjoyed Too Human.
Multiplayer was lacklustre, and the gameplay could have been better, but the whole cyber norse gods thing really drew me in.
loved the plot.

The MediEvil series. Maybe I'm looking through the wonderful rose-coloured spectacles of nostalgia, but Christ I loved those games.

YES! Thanks for making me remember the playstation spiderman, I loved the graphics of the game and the HUD, even if it doesn't look top notch today

Yessss, I fucking <3 Vib Ribbon.
Maybe I'm just bitter since I'm desperate for them to port Rez to PSN. :V
