The Ogre Battle series, brilliant stories and gameplay, not to mention challenging. Then again this is the series that paved way for FF Tactics (made by the creator of ogre battle), so it's quality is rather evident in that simple statement.
I'm a bit ashamed of saying: This.

Ogre Battle 64 was my personnal favorite.

I also loved and adored the Goemon series on the N64.

Fatal Frame. That game is so scary that it made me sleep with the lights on for two days straight. Of course, no one has heard of it. It's crazy that people talk about Silent Hill and Resident Evil being scary games, but they have nothing on Fatal Frame. I don't understand why it isn't popular.
Well where I live this is called Project Zero, and I have the first game but never managed to finish it.. maybe I will some day, but to hell if I'm doing it alone!
Why did I have to look UP?

Dynasty Warriors.
Yes, although DW5 Empires was just people shouting "base!"
Yeah the "Empires" and "Xtreme Legends" games are bad, but the normal games are actually nice stress relievers. Also, DW5 is the best game of the series.
You know I always loved 4 the most because it was harder to get the characters.

It's too bad you can only get it 2nd hand or on Steam now, because the games manual was HILARIOUS and added alot of backround information.

Despite it's appearances, this is a fun and hilarious 3ps. It has a gun that shoots sharks.
I remember that!

The second one is the scariest game I have ever played. Honestly, I don't think I've ever played it at night. The popularity thing probably has something to do with the fact that you're a small girl and your only weapon is a camera.
I can barely get through the first one and I've heard that the second one is even scarier. I plan on some day beating all the games, but I think I'm going to have a hard time.
I started on the second one because I heard it's supposed to be better. I haven't beaten it either though, I want to, but I had some difficulties to deal with around my house.

Empire Earth.Oh how i love the age upgrades.Start at WWI and end up with future technology.
This, I loved that game. It was really something original. But I played Empire Earth II at my friend's house, and I found it very confusing, instead of sticking with the simple concept of EE1, they did something completely new, and, yeah, I know, I should play the tutorial first, but good RTSs don't need tutorials.

Oh, and all this RTS talk has reminded me of Age of Mythology, a really good game, with which you harness the favor of gods, and spawn various Mythical Creatures, and God powers, all depending as who you play as. You can play as the Norses, Egyptians and Greeks. A pretty clever game, in my opinion.
i found this game the funnest game ever. i tossed my age of empire II/III to the side like it was trash to play this game

did anyone else find themselves having to be very sneaky and tricky while fighting the AI? i always had to send out a horse to draw in like 10 guys and have my 15 guys kill them then repeat, i couldn't do the all out brute force battles, i would always lose =[

the sandbox mode stuff was ridiculous...any combinaton of anything you wanted, and the AI on god mode was RIDICULOUS, they had a city built within like 2 minutes while i still had a caveman barracks going.
