Yoshi's Island mainly because I gave my SNES to my cousin who trashed the thing and I lost my GBA copy, really hoping it comes out on the Virtual Console if it hasn't already and I'm not paying attention.

Civilization IV
It's my all-time favorite RTS game (next to Dawn of War). However, my new computer can't even download the game. I guess it has lasted me a long, long time. Now all I have to satisfy me is the meh Xbox Marketplace version.

City of Villains
A damned good MMORPG. I like how it was possible to be evil while not reaching child-eating territory (I'm looking at you, Fallout 3). However it has given me a lot of problems. On my older computer the frame rate was so terrible that my character would literally walk backwards when I held down the run button. Then when I tried to play it on my new computer, I forgot all my passwords.

Psychonauts
The Meat Circus. Holy. Crap

Basically any of my favorite games are ones that left a good impression on me stroy or gameplay wise, but don't offer much replay value. So basically all of my favorite games are like that

Plenty. Doesn't matter how much you like a game, you'll get to the point where it's just played out. If you carry on playing the same game forever you'll get bored. This is excepting games with an online component, where other people keep the game interesting. The best example of this I can think of is RE4. It's always available for me to play, but now I barely touch it because I've gone through it so many times I've lost count. I have the entire game memorised, pretty much.
This is kind of along the lines I meant; maybe I wasn't totally clear in the topic post. For me the thing is that I've played LOK: Defiance maybe twice, three times at most. But I never play it anymore. I love the game absolutely to death, I really do, but I just never can work up the effort to go through the meaty story and levels again, in spite of all of those things.
Still, that works along the lines of what I asked in the topic starter, so it fits. And I totally understand that; I've played Saints Row 2 absolutely to death, to the point where I can't really get into it at all anymore, but I still love the game itself. Same for Oblivion and Morrowind, as well as KoToR 2 (without the expanded content mod, even!). Thanks for your input though! :)

Mass Effect 2, I had a great time playing, but now I can't play it again. The lack of any sort of important story development sort of ruined it for me. The entire thing can be summed up in First mission: collectors kidnapping humans, final mission: you win. The rest was just collecting people.

Devil May Cry 3. I bought the PC version at a store for $5. But yet when I put the CD in my laptop and try to play it, I get a message saying "original disk could not be found or verified." I suppose it's relevant to mention that DMC3 was ported by Ubisoft. So despite the fact that I even have the CD key on the back of the manual, I can't play the game because it never even asks for it.

I love the Suikoden games, but I can't seem to play through all of them again. I think it's because my Suikoden II disc is jacked up so I can't play all the way through it. Also Pschonauts. I really love it, but I have drive to play it through again.

For me, it's got to be Dragon Age. I played it once but just can't do it again. I love it, but knowing what'll happen ruins it and I can't keep interested.
This. Even so, I'm trying to do a second playthrough. Why? Beats me.
Also Mass Effect 1 and 2, but I've beat them 2 and 1 times respectively not too long ago so...Also, halo 3 since I don't have xbox live gold...

The Witcher. Everything about it is great, except that part where you walk. Which you have to do a lot.

For the rest,

Even Mass Effect 2 after the first game, is in that list. No custom classes (and no cheats to make one anyway) totally ruined it for me. xD
