Plenty. Doesn't matter how much you like a game, you'll get to the point where it's just played out. If you carry on playing the same game forever you'll get bored. This is excepting games with an online component, where other people keep the game interesting. The best example of this I can think of is RE4. It's always available for me to play, but now I barely touch it because I've gone through it so many times I've lost count. I have the entire game memorised, pretty much.
This is kind of along the lines I meant; maybe I wasn't totally clear in the topic post. For me the thing is that I've played LOK: Defiance maybe twice, three times at most. But I never play it anymore. I love the game absolutely to death, I really do, but I just never can work up the effort to go through the meaty story and levels again, in spite of all of those things.
Still, that works along the lines of what I asked in the topic starter, so it fits. And I totally understand that; I've played Saints Row 2 absolutely to death, to the point where I can't really get into it at all anymore, but I still love the game itself. Same for Oblivion and Morrowind, as well as KoToR 2 (without the expanded content mod, even!). Thanks for your input though!
