Deus Ex. The hotel scene with Paul. I instantly shat myself as they started knocking on the door. But rather than fleeing i charged in. Took out all the MIBs too, all limbs on red, before a unatco sniper smoked me. But rather than dying, I woke up in a cell. Worried about JC as though he was myself, worried about Paul as though he was my brother. Such a connection had been made in such a short time, and I was stunned.

My favorite game is Okami. I fell in love with everthing art work, combat, puzzles, boss fights all with thier own unique moves, and the story line. The moment i fell in love with it though is when you are fighting the Dragon boss in the middle of the game and when u beat him you fell like you just beat the game when you come to the relization that you are only half way though. LOVED IT ALL THE WAY (beat it on the PS2 and WII if you are going to get it the PS2 is the way to go.

Coming in at a closed 2ed and 3ed is Kingdom hearts 1 and 2.

Hard to say what, cuz my favorite game ever I started playing when I was 3 or 4, and it was Mechwarrior 2.
Don't expect me to remember the first moment of falling in love. WAIT- it was seeing the cover with a giant mech in front of a veil of fire. Favorite moment is escorting a bureaucrat in a hoverlimo to an opera in an occupied city. The premise of the level made me laugh, and the music fit perfectly. (This one http://www.thealmightyguru.com/VGMPF/Music/MechWarrior2-W32/17%20-%20Track%2017.ogg)

Batman: Arkham Asylum had the first Scarecrow mission, and the whole 'play as the Joker' moment - which was stunning.
I swear, I thought the game broke when that happened, cuz it just glitched into that scene when I was going down a hallway, and I was prepared to sit through whatever insanity awaited. Then
I got shot, was waiting to try again, then saw myself climbing out of my grave. Huh.
I think the disk was slightly scratched in that spot...

Red Dead Redemption. The moment I went over the first ridge, and saw the awe inspiring beauty of the landscape. Then every time I went over a ridge after that. And again on my first time to Mexico. Graphics aren't particularly important to me normally, but that game was just amazing.
Sure was. Best looking game out there along with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

My damn game bugged out when I got to Mexico and I didn't get any Jose Gonzales music. I seem to have missed one of the greatest scenes in gaming history.

The music wont play if you get off the horse that they provide you with on the bank of the river.

good ol uncharted 2. i liked from the start. already, it was a huge leap up from the original, what with the epic and bleak opening, then throwing a stealth section at us. then it was back to the old familiar jungle. so far so good, a fun sequel, maybe i'll check out the multiplayer later, looks fun. then, bam, urban warfare. heli chases across rooftops. collapsing buildings with you still in it. so. fucking. awesome. and it only got better from there.

Saints Row 2, I'd say somewhere between driving a golden Bear playing classical music and finding that WW2 helmet at the costume store.

I don't really have a favorite game of all time, as I kinda jump around between games and genres a lot. I suppose the closest I have to a favorite game is the Kingdom Hearts series as a whole. It's convoluted as hell, but damned if it isn't just a great realization of an epic story with some of the best characters ever. I'd say the moment that really got me hooked on the kingdom hearts series is a toss-up between any of those awesome fights with Darkside in the first one, or the whole thing with Sora becoming a Heartless. The second game favorite moment is the Thousand Heartless Battle, hands down.

Mine would be Animal Crossing. I saw a trailer for it in a Magazine a year before it came to America, it looked cool. When i got it in late '02 from blockbuster...i loved it, i played for hours without moving. Then my birthday early '03. For 5 more years i never got bored of it. It had what i wanted in a game i guess.

I've only played 5 hours of Mass Effect 2, but I can tell that this series is going to be up there with my favourites, if not at the top. The moment I fell in love with ME2 was finding the customer who had been nagging this Turian shopkeeper the entire first game and hearing him still rant about his refund.

Uncharted 2 is up there as well. That entire game is a non-stop thrill ride, but it was actually the slowest part that got to me. When you wake up in the Tibetan village, I just felt like I was on such an amazing adventure.

Okami has a few for me, sadly I barely remember the particulars, even though I constantly replayed the game.

The first time I cured a tree and brought flowers back to the land was a beautiful moment.

The battles with Orochi, even if he wasn't the final boss he was still so much cooler in my mind then the actual one.

Being stuck alone on the water, my whale friend gone, as the sea dragon attacked me and I desperately tried to escape with lilipads.

Every howl Amaterasu does in the game, especially the final one, such a powerful moment from a short inconsequential scene.
