Your Favorite Game

Pretty simple thread, yet some search bar usage left me with only things related to the topic. Anyway, escapists, I ask you, what is your favorite video game, and why?

OT: I'd have to say, right now mine is Golden Sun 2. The puzzling fits in very well with the RPG elements, and the combat is quite interesting and challenging. The music is great as well.

My favorite game and always will be. It did everything Ocarina of Time did but better, in my eyes.

Personally, my all time favourite switches between 3 games:

Metal Gear Solid 4, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Kingdom Hearts II

I can never decide for sure between those games.

i think in relation to games that really took me aback and surprised me, my favourite would have to bioshock even through the blaitant comparisons to system shock...still an awesome game with a freaking awesome story

OT: I would say Halo: Reach. It has a ridiculous amount of replay value, and the game is fun to play i.e. assassination, jetpacks, etc.

I'd have to say 'Skies of Arcadia: Legends'. Probably the first JRPG that's ever truly engaged me. Actually, SMT: Persona 4 engaged me too, but SoA engaged me more.
