Surprisingly its mostly games I already own on other systems.

Zelda 1, 2, and A Link to the Past
Final Fantasy 1&2
Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission

I think I mainly used my GBA to play GB games like Link's Awakening, Dragon Quest 1-3, Crystalis, Metroid 2, Shadowgate etc.

Metroid Fusion
how the hell did it take this long for fusion to be mentioned. that game was incredible. it lacked a little in the free roaming style of zero mission, but everything just felt so refined. and seriously, who didn't literally crap their pants the first time they're properly chased by the SA:X.

also mention goes to sonic advance, which was pretty big for a gameboy sonic game, and had plenty to do, and leafgreen, which is my favourite incarnation of pokemon so far (massive sucker for the classic, and its essentially a HD version)

Haha, I always wondered if I was the only one who felt genuine terror when that thing showed up.
I don;t know how the game does it, but when that thing is after you, you move faster than you thought you could.

Advance wars 1 and 2 are a must I dont even like TBS games and I liked these games they are that good.

Golden Sun 1 and 2 are great if you like JRPGS.

Puzzle Quest because matching gems has never been this much fun.

Golden Sun 1 and 2
Megaman Zero

and honestly I can't think of anything else I got for the system that really stood out. There's probably some more games sitting around in my old cartridge bin.

Edit: Metroid Fusion and Megaman Battle Network

Golden Sun series, most of all, but the Fire Emblem games were awesome. Particularly the first (English port, that is, I realize there were several in Japan that never got over), where your character is actually refereed to in game. Love games that do that.

Mega Man Zero and Astro Boy: Omega Factor are my two main favorites.

Wario Land 4, Drill Dozer, Yoshi's Island, and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga are also really good.

It's gotta be Yoshi's Island 3. Hell, I still play that on airplanes when I'm on a long trip.

I just cannot believe no one mentioned the greatest kirby game ever

Sprawling large world to explore, 9 bosses and best implementation of the "bomb" ability.

Golden Sun
Mega Man Battle Network
Pokémon Fire Red
Pokémon Ruby

I say favorites, but those are really the only games I ever owned for GBA.

Are you referring to Legacy of Goku, Legacy of Goku 2, and Buu's Fury?

Those were kick ass!

Just imagine what this would look like if you didn't know anything about Pokémon.

I think I'd have to say my favorite GBA games were...

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Wario Land 4
Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror

I've missed out on probably a billion GBA games, as I was too young at the time to get games for myself, and I didn't even know how to integrate myself into the community so that I would know about games before release.
