Your favorite grunt.

Like my post about Video game in game merchants, their are some video game fundementals that are overlooked and under apreciated. Probubly nothing is more overlooked than the grunt. You know what I mean. These things are small, weak and killed in such large numbers. They dont do much damage but they have determination like no other.


However I learned from my post on merchant and Would really appreciate if we did this.

NO GRUNTS FROM HALO

I know that sucks but If we dont eliminate the obviously most popular choice, the discution here would be meaningless as the merchant from re4 destroyed my previous post.

I personally like the headcrabs from the half life series.

The ordinary thugs in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Even on hard mode they pose no threat.

Okay, seriously now I think that the best example of really easy to kill things are the Thuggish Splicers in Bioshock. Because they are the only enemy that can die with one hit and even better I can do so simply by belting them with my wrench.

That seems a bit unfair. What if someone actually likes the Grunts from Halo? and expresses it in a genuinely polite manner (i.e- not all Halo fans are trolls, but most are, so I don't blame you.)[hr]

I like the pokemon trainers. They each have a unique personality, and you can usually come back and face them.

I knew the Halo grunts would be chosen by most evereybody, as was the merchant from re4 in my merchants thred, as well as henchman 21 and 24 owned my henchman thred.

That really isn't fair, without the grunts from Halo how would we have Grunt Birthday Party? Quite possibly the most satisfying headshot EVER. (Not to mention, by specifically banning the grunt from Halo, you've encouraged people who wouldn't even have mentioned him to bring him up. Sometimes damage control does more damage than good).

But fine, if that's how we're going to play it, how bout a good ol' fashioned Goomba? It's been years since I've played a Mario game, but I still remember how satisfyingly those things squished under your feet.
