My God, the Patriot was just painful to get through, I'm a history student I was just sitting there yelling "No Mel Gibson, you can't have a farm of freed slaves, that doesn't work.

LOLZ. dude that was pretty fuuny. i can just image a guy in a movie theater just yelling that at the screen.

anyway for me it would be "Gods and Generals" just a simply beautiful film in my opinion.

Schindler's List, I guess. I also like a lot of other war films (that are more centred on, you know, the fighting part) such as Full Metal Jacket, Saving Private Ryan and Apocalypse Now.

hold on, hold on. Apocalypse now really happened?! holy dogshit batman! i thought that's what happened to soldiers who took too much LSD in the 'Nam. they trip balls imagining they're on a secret mission from the government to kill one of their own soldiers lol.
