Bo staff. To fight the magical ligers. Totally bruise their neck meat.

(Are the kids still quoting that movie? Is that cool?
...What? High School Musical 3? What the heck is that? You know what? Forget it. I can't keep up with this crap.)

The Round Bomb.

I've just started my own martial art, Bomb Fu, which teaches the student the most elegant, graceful, efficient and deadly way of arming a high explosive and ensuring it goes off at the optimum position near the target to ensure the desired level of direct/collateral damage.

West: Rapier/Saber
East: Katana/Nunchaku
Stealth: Ninja Swords (long and short)
Chinese: Tai Chi Sword

I like a lot of weapons. I started with Nunchucks, though, so I have a soft spot in my heart for them. I also like just about any kind of sword.

Sword-Chuck
3 section staff
3 section bladed-staff (Its so deliciously deadly, it even kills the user!)

Oh, and the staff is the best martial arts weapon ever made.
Its both a weapon, and a shield, at the same time. Its dual wielded, 'attack/shields' fast, with great variety in range.

a set of Sai, After learning how to properly wield them I would have to say that they are my favorite. Simply devastating weapons.

actually the m-16 and there is indeed a form of martial arts in israel and in the US marine core where they use the m16 as the main weapon, its for special ops forces incase they find themselves out of bullets.

otherwise rope dart would be my weapon of choice

Chinese Broadsword. A real one, not the floppy shit they use for exhibitions. Of course, I'm assuming that no one would stare at me while I carry it around.

A bokken is the only weapon I know how to use, but I think those hook swords would be fun to play with.

I've done training with a Bo (Bo is a 6 foot staff so calling it a Bo Staff is saying 6 foot staff staff) so I'm going to say that.

I like em because you can (hopefully) keep them at least 4 feet away from you.

Read the post, please.

Anyway.

The three-section staff is where it's AT, son! That weapon doesn't get nearly enough coverage, dammit.
As boxing is a style that appears in mixed martial arts, I would have to disagree. Not mention Judo another martial art doesn't use weapons, and they would also disagree.

The Bo = win; but for sheer awesomeness, the nine-section Chinese whip takes the cake. When I was doing Kung Fu they didn't even keep in on the premises, in case one of the yellow sashes got a hold of it and took out half the class with their inneptitude. Only saw it used twice, but damn...

Excuse me, did I write something in invisible letters?

Never did I say that weapon-free combat styles were not martial arts. But the damn post is not about your favorite martial arts style, it's about your favorite martial arts weapon. The OP even specifically stated that fists do NOT apply in this situation.

Read the OP and all posts before posting your own reply. Because I've already explained this.

And if I got the wrong drift, let me use my invisible letters to write an apology.
