Hmm...In ME3,shooting legion in the face over and over again with the renegade prompt after he went all postal on me for not letting him upgrade the geth.

Felt a bit sorry for him afterwards mind you,but when the galaxy is at stake,sacrifices must be made.

There's tons. I doubt I could pick just one moment.

So I'll just go with a random small moment:

After the genephage cure hits the sky, there's that scene where all the krogan are standing around staring in wonder at the little "snowflakes". There's one in particular that stood out in my mind. A great big brute wearing one of those huge Blood Pack armoured suits with the exhaust tubes on the back. He's staring up at the shroud tower.

Something about the image of a walking dispenser of brutal violence awestruck by the unexpected prospect of an actual future just kinda got to me.

You know, I wasn't necessarily going to go with this part but after re-watching the scene in the link you posted, I remember how much more I loved it because of the Vigil theme. It brought me back to the fun of playing ME1 for the first time and discovering all these cool races and planets.

Could we just have an entire game where you play as Shepard and your the best friend of Garrus and its your duty to cause shenanigans on the citadel together.

Love interests spread to all of the crew as well.

Agreed, that scene was best scene in terms of heartwarming.

Also ANY of the deaths in ME3 were awesome/sad.

And the suicide mission grabs me as one of the best final missions in any game ever.

Yes, yes, yes! I totally agree. Along these lines of pulled my heartstrings: Legion's death if you Paragon the situation to make both sides stand down I still hold as one of the best moments in all the games. "Does this unit have a soul?" Yes. It fucking does! Thane's death was also really good. I enjoyed the whole praying with him thing and how it's revealed that he was praying for you.

In terms of over the top awesomeness: The opening to Mass Effect 2 when you step out and everything is completely silent because you're in space. That took my breath away. And the ending for Mass Effect 2 if you do everything well with full loyalty and all the upgrades. Was so satisfying to do so well. And finally, in Mass Effect 3 when Grunt runs the distraction for you to escape. You think he dies and then BAM he shows up smiling. Was awesome!
