Passion of the Christ is my ABSOLUTE favorite. Angel's & Demon's has to be my 2nd favorite. I just love the story there.
A few war movies I've seen - Pearl Harbor, We Were Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, Silent Night... Seems like I've seen more... Silent Night is normally on TV around Christmas, and it's about German and American Soldiers staying at this German woman's house Christmas with her son during WWII. She basically makes them stop fighting for the 24 hours or so that they're at her house, and they agree because it's Christmas and none of them want to die. At least that's what I remember, and just the short version. I'm not going to ruin the movie for anyone who wants to go watch it now...

My favourite film would have to be Let The Right One In. I just absolutely love the film, it really touched me and its a deeply emotional film to me.
There are many other favourites aswell which might contend with it but at the moment, that is my favourite film, as you can tell by my avatar.

So many good movies so many diffrent genres always makes it hard to choose a favorite.
Gotta go with District 9 though it was superb. And I am still hoping for a possible sequel.

The Hunt for Red Oktober is quite good.
Also I'm a fan of the The Lord of the Rings (with "The Return of the King" as the best of the three)

I think Fight Club is my favorite but only because I really liked the book before I even saw the movie.
Pirates Of The Caribbean. For me, it has it all! Great story with fantastic pacing, interesting characters and brilliant chemistry and dialogue between them, fantastic fight scenes, one of the best musical scores in film history and, best of all, the atmosphere. The setting, the feel of the locales, the clothes, props, ships, everything looks so vibrant and beautiful. Fuck me, I love that film

At the risk of sounding pretentious I think Casablanca is one of my favourite films of all time. Great humour, complex relationships, terrific cast, beautiful cinematography, and one of the all time classic endings.
